Just left Dr.Hoover's office. The staff is very friendly and helpful, kind and courteous! I'm such a coward when it comes to going to the dentist but my experience here was great! Glad to have found a good dentist in my area!! I haven't had the greatest experience in Frankfort with dentists until today! Thanks guys!

They are committing fraud against Medicaid patients. He tried to use scare tactics to get me to pay for a service out of pocket that is covered by Medicaid. Said I would need all of my teeth pulled unless I get fillings, but since the fillings are so "large" medicaid would only pay $70 towards it and I would have to pay an additional $100 per filling to him. After contacting my insurance and asking questions directly the receptionist claims the extra fees were for filling crowns. If so, why did he say Medicaid would put $70 towards it, they do not cover such services at all. Lies, Trying to cover themselves because I was asking questions they didn't like and not going along with their scam. I have reported them to the Attorney General's office. I advise all to stay far away from these people. Edit to response: The only one making fabrications is you. The "multiple treatment options" were to have all the teeth pulled and pay $4000 for dentures or Pay $100 per filling on top of what Medicaid pays. It is illegal to charge for services provided by Kentucky Medicaid and you have been reported to the proper authorities.

I never leave reviews but I had to for Dr. Hoover's office. The receptionist is super helpful and knowledgeable. The assistant- I can't say enough sweet things about her. My nerves were a wreck and she calmed me right down. She's very pleasant and attentive. Dr. Hoover is not only funny, but with his steady hands and great judgment- he's hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. He listened to my concerns and let me make my own decisions instead of saying this is what's happening and " needs done" I didn't feel like I was just money in his pocket. He pulled a giant tooth out and I honestly didn't even know it was pulled until they said so. He has 30 years experience and it shows.

I have been to 6 or 7 dentists in Frankfort and Hoover is the best one iv been to, all of my teeth are fixed now and he's the only one that done what I wanted done, even fixed teeth that other dentists said they were not fixable, the staff is also friendly they made me feel at home, thank you all so much

Dr. Hoover is the absolute BEST dentist I've been to in my life!!! He has been my families dentist for over 18 YEARS. He is very thorough & very serious ABOUT DENTAL HEALTH/HYGIENE & prevention of dental problems. If you're looking for a great dentist Dr. Taylor Hoover is your best bet

Dr. Hoover gets straight to the point. I had a tooth that needed to be extracted. I was in and out of the office in less than an hour. He did an excellent job. No errors or complications. Loved the efficiency and his matter of fact style. I left in minimal pain and feeling confident in Dr. Hoover's abilities. I would recommend 100%

Husband struggled with bad tooth pain all weekend. Called the office and immediately was worked in first thing Monday morning! Great doctor, was efficient and extremely kind! Overall we are extremely satisfied with services and we will most definitely be returning!

Dr. Hoover is a no-frills dentist that works efficiently. You won't be waiting long and he won't try to sell you fancy products that you don't need. Get in, get out and get on with your life! I recommend 100%

if you go to this dentist you are very desperate I cannot stand this place I went one time he was so rude I got up and walked out and now I am never allowed to go back again

Dr. Hoover is fantastic! He works quickly and efficiently all while getting the job done the RIGHT way. He is also very affordable and is one of the very few dentists in Frankfort that accepts most medicaid. Will continue to see Dr. Hoover for years to come.
