Dr. Dheeraj has been practicing comprehensive and complex dentistry for the past 15 years, 10 of which were in Portland Maine. His goal has always been to provide the highest quality of dental care, looking at the overall health and wellbeing and listening and addressing each patients individual needs. He has become certified in sleep apnea and implantology and is dedicated to lifelong learning, all to better assist his patients.

Dr. Dheeraj graduated from Boston University in 2005 and traveled to and practiced in Michigan for one year. He quickly realized New England was where he wanted to settle down. He spent 10 years practicing dentistry in Maine, but has now found his permanent dental family and home in Westford. His wife Valiha works at Lowell General Hospital, and they are blessed with 2 beautiful children, Dhruv and Diya, ages 6 and 3. His commitment to family is simply beautiful, as his eyes sparkle when speaking of them.

Outside of dentistry Dr. Dheeraj enjoys gatherings with family and friends. He could be called a foodie as he is always interested in trying any and all cuisines. In the office, he is known for his sweet tooth; Every staff birthday is celebrated with cake and he is always providing an assortment of fun snack options for the entire office.

Dr. Dheeraj was also in the Army Dental Corps for 10 years, volunteering his service when he became aware there was a critical shortage of dentists. He stepped down in 2019 to spend more time with his family and allow him to dedicate more time towards his My Smile Care.

Dr. Shivani Patel grew up in Westford, MA, and graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston with her Doctorate in Pharmacy in 2012. She then graduated from the Boston University Henry M. School of Dental Medicine earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society. She is excited to be working in her hometown and is looking forward to eating a lot of Kimball Farms ice cream! She enjoys sports, traveling and learning about new cultures. She is passionate about film and loves to critique movies. Additionally, she is a big Boston sports fan!

For patients undergoing longer procedures, we provide snacks, and we never leave patients alone in the operatory; we want to make sure you are well cared for throughout your entire visit.
