I have to start by saying...WOW. The entire staff and Dr. Traxler are amazing! Dr. Traxler was extremely patient when he was explaining all of the details and options for us. He was very kind and answered all of our questions thoroughly. I have never been to a dentist who cares so much about their patients and I would HIGHLY recommend him if you need a new Periodontist.

I have had the best experience at Encinitas Perio! I had my first consultation back in 2018 with Dr. Roberts for gum recession throughout my entire mouth. Dr. Roberts was great at walking me through the gum grafting process, but I wasn't ready then to go through with the surgery due to job change and my upcoming wedding. Life got crazy, and I ended up coming back for the surgery in December 2021. This time Dr. Traxler took over my care. In those three years, I had changed dentists and seen another periodontist who did not offer the same patient attentiveness or insurance coverage options that I had received at Encinitas Perio. Dr. Traxler set my mind at ease and answered all of my questions and even responded to texts I sent him during the healing process. I am thrilled at the result of my gum grafting surgeries. I highly recommend Dr. Roberts and especially Dr. Traxler, and really appreciate the rest of the team at Encinitas Perio! Thanks guys!

I have been going to Encinitas Perio since before Dr. Roberts updated the practice name and got the new beautiful office. Yep, I inherited bad dental genes ! He and his staff are top notch, up to date on all the newest techniques, professional AND friendly. I can't recommend them enough. If you need a periodontist, this is the place to call and go.

20 years ago or so, my tooth cleanings began with Claudia, a disciplinarian, replace by John. Dr, Robert's is 1-0-0 implant record. Dr. Traxler is 2-0-0 since my genetically poor teeth are older & more frail. This group is one business which I can unequivocally recommend.

I cannot overstate the deep satisfaction and positive impressions I have derived from this excellent dental practice. Without exaggeration and without exception, all personnel is superlative from all viewpoints and by any imaginable professional standard. The entire office team is informed and efficient, performing all patient-related tasks speedily and impeccably; the medical staff is invariably and reassuringly competent even in complex procedures (mine was one such). Truly, this practice inspires trust and confidence from the moment you cross its threshold going in, and the feeling persists after you leave.

I've been a patient here for 10 plus years and have multiple (5?) implants done by him. Suffice to say that I'm a completely satisfied patient, with every implant working perfectly. The office staff is also great. You'd get clear reminders ahead of your appointments, clear instructions about after-operation care, as well as clearly itemized charges and the dates for them.

I had a really good experience with a gum graft from Encinitas Perio. The staff is very friendly and answered all my questions throughly without seeming annoyed. Dr. Traxler did my surgery, and did a great job, as far as I can tell, 10 days later. There have been no complications, and I didn't really have much pain. I appreciated his follow-up phone call the day after the surgery. Would recommend!

I first met Dr Roberts and his staff over 20 years ago for some major dental issues. Since then I return every six months for a cleaning. The staff is amazing and very professional. John, the hygienist, is the BEST!

Normally I would rather go down a slide of razor blades into a pool of alcohol than go into a perio. I suppose no one likes getting dental work, but I have only a mini anxiety attack instead of my full nervous breakdown before going into Dr. Roberts office because everyone is so kind, efficient and knowledgeable. I come from a smaller town where the health care providers are the kind that accidentally sew you up with tools left inside, so it is more than refreshing to go somewhere that I trust, and where I know that I am going to get taken care of. I know it looks sketchy but despite my last name Dr. Roberts is no relation to me, although I wish he was so that I could skip the billing part of my visits. This review is a true assessment of my appreciation for this office and the staff!

No one really WANTS to have perio issues...but Dr. Roberts and his staff actually had me look forward to going there! They are ALL truly skilled and very tuned-in to high quality customer care. I was personally referred to them (which was a plus)...& now I can be that for you. Please know you will be in THE BEST hands for choosing Encinitas Perio.

Dr. Roberts is the BEST healthcare provider of any kind that I have ever been to. I wish he was my regular dentist, too. His staff is super cool, helpful, nice and I just love them. 10/10 would go back. I can't recommend them highly enough, they are amazing. I had two procedures for dental implants and they went smoothly and I am very pleased.

On Nov. 5 Dr. Traxler did oral surgery on me.Hepulled two teeth and removed inflammation in my upper gum. He is very gentle,caring person. I am a bleeder so I was worried about the bleeding.no problem. He gave me instructions for when I went home.. I followed them. No bleeding At first I has a lot of pain. Took an Arnica pill. Fell asleep, when I awoke no bleeding,pain, or swelling. I would recommend him to anyone. Excellent Peridontis.
