Dr. Carlos Cruz-Chu is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist. He has always enjoyed working with children and in his last two years of high school, he volunteered at the pediatric hospital (hospital del nio) in Lima-Peru every weekend. He graduated as a dentist at the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia and after graduation, became a teaching assistant in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
Knowing that you always have to improve yourself to give the best quality of care to your patients, Dr. Cruz-Chu decided to do a two-year pediatric dental specialty at the University of Puerto Rico, which is renowned for its strong training in interceptive orthodontics in children and adolescents and in treating severely medically compromised as well as special needs patients. In addition, Dr. Cruz-Chu also trained in different areas of the hospital including the operating room, emergency room, anesthesia department and dental clinic.After graduation, he established in Virginia and has been practicing as a pediatric dentist in Northern Virginia for many years.
Dr. Cruz-Chu is committed to continuing education and participates in numerous courses and seminars each year. During his free time Dr. Cruz-Chu enjoys exercising in the gym and swimming, spending quality time with his wife and baby son, doing outdoor activities, visiting new places, going to concerts and trying new foods. Like many of his pediatric patients, he loves to read comics, discuss about superhero movies and be part of the anime culture. Dr. Cruz-Chu is a pediatric dentist fluent in English and Spanish and knows a little bit of basic sign language.

We just moved here recently and have loved that we chose this dentist for our daughters. Both have some dental issues and I could not have asked for a better dentist to treat them. Dr. Cruz is patient and attentive and most of all expertly quick when dealing with these littles who can't sit still long. Highly recommend Baby2Teens

The staff were wonderful and my kiddos had a great time. I'm glad we found such a wonderful place and it is definitely worth the 30 minute drive there. Anyone around the Stafford/Fredericksburg area I strongly recommend.

Very decent place for kids to receive world class dental treatment. Hassle FREE front desk; they properly coordinate with the insurance company so that you don't have to deal with an unneeded crisis ; You can easily make your appointment online and it's an actual appointment. In summary, they are in line with the 22 century's technology.

Absolutely loved this office for my preemie daughters first trip to the dentist! They have a special room for babies which includes a comfy chair for the caregiver, dimly lit room with rotating colorful lights and a sound machine. They have a variety of flavors for everything they use in the cleaning which is awesome for kids! The team listened and was attentive as well as explained everything well for easy comprehension for how to best help in caring for your child's teeth! An added bonus is, for my bilingual family, that Dr. Cruz Chu is fluent in English as well as Spanish. The overall atmosphere of the office is great. Everything is clean and everyone is friendly, which is absolutely necessary when working with children, that and patience. I'm very excited to have found a great office my first go around!

I have been searching for a place to take my kids and came across this new dentistry, from the moment we walked in we felt very welcomed and the sign in process was super easy!
