The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child should see a pediatric dentist when the first tooth appears, or no later than their first birthday. By giving your child a dental home early in their childhood, they will become comfortable in seeing us and if treatment is needed, the trust is established early on.  In addition, we can help you detect and prevent future problems such as cavities, and crooked teeth from pacifier use and thumb sucking.

We will offer you all the treatment options, carefully explain why we recommend them and work with you to determine the best treatment plan with the most kindhearted approach for your child. We are happy to see children from birth through adolescence and help to build good habits that will stay with them for a lifetime.
