Dr. James is from Las Vegas, Nevada and has enjoyed working in health care since 1998. He completed his undergraduate degree in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2001. He enjoyed providing diagnostic care in Hospitals and Clinics for 6 years when he was accepted to the UNLV School of Dental Medicine.
Upon completing his Degree in Dental Medicine in 2009, he was then commissioned as an Officer in the US Navy Dental Corps. His duty stations included Camp Pendleton, California where he completed an additional year of training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. He served in Sigonella, Italy where he deployed with the USNS Comfort providing humanitarian dental care to 11 nations in the Carribean, Central, and South America.
Finally, in 2016 his family emphatically chose Naval Air Station Oak Harbor as their final assignment. Dr. Ward purchased Anacortes Dental Care in October 2019, and is thrilled to provide care to the wonderful people of Anacortes and surrounding communities. He desires all who visit the clinic to have excellent oral health, form, and function.

My visit to Anacortes Dental Care was 5 stars+. Everyone from the people at the front desk to Dr Ward are friendly and professional. I'm always supet nervous about going to the dentist but Dr Ward made put me at ease. I highly recommend ADC!

Doctor Ward and his service are fun, friendly, efficient, and competent. Susan, Sherry (spelling?) are very conscious and conscientious in ensuring they provide the very best of care and attention to us patients. Since my last visit the added Ashley, a new Dental Tech. Really great. Great Folks.

Dr. Ward is a wonderful dentist. I had two small fillings done yesterday. I had absolutely no pain...and best of all, my mouth wasn't a bit numb by the time I left. The dental assistant was very professional and informative, as well.

Had an extraction of a tooth with a crack into the root, was causing quite a bit of pain. Was anxious about the procedure. Dr. Ward removed the tooth with very minimal pain. Worse part was numbing shot. Staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. All around pleasant experience, thank you so much.

Dr. Ward is a dentist who cares for his patients. He is gentle, always making sure I am comfortable and not in pain. He will refer a person to a specialist if it is necessary. Dr. Ward's dental work is very good. I highly recommend him.
