Dr. Hussain is the General Dentist/Owner of All-Star Dental. He opened All-Star Dental in Somerset more than a decade ago with the hopes and fulfillment of providing high quality dental treatment to an underserved population. Having served as an Associate Dentist in other offices prior to opening All-Star Dental, Dr. Hussain and his staff have put their utmost effort in providing a treatment environment that they are proud of. He graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in New York, NY. He completed his General Practice Dental Residency from Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital in Utica, NY where he was trained in Dentistry alongside leading Dental Specialists in their respective fields. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Western Connecticut State University. Dr. Hussain puts patient comfort and empathy before all else. He continually attends Continuing Education courses in Dentistry throughout the country so as to remain current in the latest advances and techniques in performing high quality dental treatment for his patients. When not treating patients, Dr. Hussain enjoys following his favorite teams (Mets, Jets, Knicks) and spending quality time with his friends and family.

Had a great experience there. Brie was so knowledgeable and kind. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and patiently. I felt very welcomed and taken seriously. I've had very difficult times finding healthcare professionals I can trust and rely on. But I'm happy to say I have found my dentistry!

Dr. H goes above and beyond for his clients. He's extremely honest which is really hard to find in a dentist. Other dentists told me that I needed an implant. Instead he suggested putting on a new cap to see if it would hold up for a few more years before having to do an implant. Thankfully it has worked and I haven't had to get an implant.

For starters the staff was very welcoming. The office clean and organized. Jamie was amazing during my visit. She was very informative and answered every question with detail. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. The Dr also took the time to explain all of my options with patience and professionalism. They made me feel like I was a priority. Thank you

I have been trying to get an appointment that was ideal for me but this office would call me and cancel my appointment to an earlier time that was not suitable for me. They had did this twice and each time would use the excuse that office was closing early or that something was going in the office. Why do they post/advertise the hours if they do not want to work the hours. I would not recommend them to anyone. What an awful impression to leave with a new patient.

I came in because I had been foolishly putting off dental care for a while, but a cracked molar was getting bad. The appointment was at a comfortably late hour for my job shifts, and Brie did a wonderful job cleaning me up and putting me at my ease. Dr. Hussain was calm and professional and was on my level - I did not get the feeling, as I have at some dentists, that he wanted to get me to buy thousands of dollars of veneers or something. He referred me to an oral surgeon and later gave me a short scrip for some related medications. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hussain for your general dental needs.

I am so disappointed with this dentist and am torn writing this review because I know how difficult it is for business to stay open during this time but I still can't believe what happened here this morning. My elderly mother who during the Covid -19 has the misfortune of getting a massive tooth ache, was referred to them by her dental insurance. She was apprehensive to say the least about going to a dentist during the pandemic but the pain she was in left her no choice. After working with her ins company an appt was set for this morning. Her and my brother drive out the 45 minutes to the office and are told that they don't take the ins and unless she wants to pay cash they won't see her. We then get back on the phone with the ins company who calls All Star Dental and is told by the dentist that because he has had issues with getting paid from this insurance in the past he is refusing to take it anymore..... I don't understand how a Dr can turn away someone in pain!! During a pandemic no less. I understand and can sympathize with having issues in the past with the insurance, but that has nothing to do with my mom and the pain she is still in now because of this behavior! I can't say if he is a good dentist or not because she didn't have a chance to utilize his service but if you ask me, this is no way to treat anyone in pain!!!! It's not about the money it's about the moral!!

Absolutely horrible.!!! I called my mothers insurance they specifically told me that this dentist IS covered on her insurance so I called them to make an appointment for today at 10:15 AM. the actual dentist office called me the day before to confirm our appointment. I said yes. I will be taking off my essential job to take my mother there which is more then half hour drive away from us. We get there before 10 o'clock and the response to us was No I apologize we do t take this insurance ??? Are sure because my insurance company says you do and you also called us to confirm. I calmly said thank you and went to my car to speak to the insurance company they once again assured me that yes this doctor is covered and they are not sure why he is not helping us. They put me on hold while they called and spoke to the doctor themselves to find out what's going on. The insurance company gets back to me in seconds and tells me that he just doesn't want to see us for whatever reason of getting paid by our insurance or something like that, well why couldn't you tell me that yesterday when your office called me why couldn't you double check the insurance before making me take off of work and losing money in such difficult times. Who's going to pay me ?? For taking off of work for the gas on the vehicle etc etc. horrible experience!

I avoided the dentist for years, because I had such a bad experience with a prior dentist. Dr H and his staff were incredibly caring and made me feel so comfortable. Don't waste anymore time looking for a dentist like I did... this is is one to visit

The office is exceptional and staff amazing, going out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable and well taken care of. I don't think that anyone looks forward to going to the dentist however All-Star Dental is the place to go!
