Dr. Zopp graduated with honors from James Madison University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry (Medical College of Virginia). Upon graduating from JMU, Dr. Zopp worked at Merck in Elkton. His wife, Kate, completed her student teaching at Elkton Elementary School and then went on to become Richmond Public School's 2013 Teacher of the Year. Dr. Zopp practiced in Northern Virginia for three years prior to purchasing Davis Dental Center in March 2016. Dr. Zopp and Kate have two boys, Noah and Luke, and currently reside in Rockingham County. Dr. Zopp is a member of the American Dental Association and Virginia Dental Association.
Dr. Amanda Knestrick graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Medial Technology prior to attending dental school. After obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the WVU School of Dentistry, she practiced in Pennsylvania and West Virginia before moving to Virginia. Dr. Knestrick lives with her husband, Mark, and their daughter, Mia, in Penn Laird. She has loved exploring the valley since moving here last year.
Dr. Knestrick enjoys working with patients to achieve a healthy mouth and a happy smile. Currently she is a member of various professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Harrisonburg Study Club.
Ive had the pleasure of being part of the Dental world since 2006! Im passionate about being an advocate for our patients. Theres nothing like the satisfied look on a patients face when theyve navigated the sometimes confusing world of insurance/financing, and the unknown treatment to come out on the other end with an even bigger, better smile. Calming fears, answering questions and helping to make treatment possible, especially in a relaxed atmosphere, is rewarding to me.

Dr. Zopp is wonderful he is very nice and very understanding. His staff is very wonderful as well and very helpful and very friendly. I would recommend anyone to go there. I would not go anywhere else. I am very satisfied with Dr. Zopp. Make you feel like apart of there family there. I had one bad tooth that was full with infection and going down in my jaw. He clean it all out and pulled my bad teeth. He is so so good.

Dr. Zopp and his team take excellent care of their patients and truly make them feel like family! I never had the family feeling at the dentist or felt like my concerns were taken seriously until I went to Dr. Zopp. My family nor I will ever be going anywhere else.

If I could leave 10 stars I would, I've seen Dr Zopp before and he was great! I've been seeing Dr. W lately and she is absolutely amazing, I feel no pain with her and she's so time efficient and not judgmental what so ever. I could not recommend this dentist office enough, 100% worth the 45 minute drive!

I have a tooth pulled and 2 days later infection set up had to go to the ER for meds the Dr said THEY should have been given to me FIND A good Dentist in Harrisonburg and a lot less in price

My wife had an appointment today for three cavities, she got charged over $800, yes she had insurance but that only covers 45% still had to pay over $500, for three fillings! Yes there very nice and friendly but we go there to have our teeth taken care of not make friends. I've been going there for a few years and only had cleanings and x-rays, the amount keeps going up a lot every year. Yea time to look for another dentist.

Dr. Zopp is a tooth artist. All of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Zopp Family Dental Center makes going to the dentist a non intimidating comfortable experience. Highly recommended.

I have been going here for years, (use to be Davis Dental) before Dr Zopp took over that practice. Absolutely Love Dr Zopp and his staff!!! They are very professional, take the time to listen to concerns and answers my questions. My hygienist gets me laughing at each apointment, turning this once major dental phobic person into someone who doesn't mind dental appoinment. I can not say enough nice things about any of the staff that work here. All are knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr Zopp Family Dental Center!

My appointment was scheduled for Monday I had an emergency with an abscessed tooth that needed a trip to the E.R. I called told them the problem and that I was planning on going to the emergency room they got me in 30 minutes later and took excellent care of the problem.saved me a 6 hour emergency room visit and alot of money thank you zopp God bless

They were great with fitting my whole family in this past year with COVID. My husband had an emergency last Spring, they were able to meet with him right away. My young girls met with him for their first dentist apt and they were great with them. I finally met with him and he is going to help me with my TMJ. The hygienist was very good with my cleaning too. Great office!!
