We are located in Zionsville, Indiana and serve families from the entire greater Indianapolis area. Superior oral health is vital for a child's development, and we're here to help every step of the way.
At ZPD, we are committed to making your child's first dental visit pleasant and comfortable. We understand the importance of establishing a good oral hygiene regimen early in a child's life, and we provide children with the necessary knowledge and treatment to maintain a healthy smile.
Our mission is to provide a dental home for our patients. We are devoted to helping our patients enjoy long term dental success. Along with the American Dental Association, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatrics, we recommend the age one dental visit so that we can educate and instruct families in proper oral health care for their children. We believe in the prevention, not just treatment, of dental disease and malocclusion in children from birth through high school age, including patients with special health care needs. Our goals are to make your child's experience in our office a positive one which is free of anxiety and fear and to promote oral health which will last a lifetime.

My name is Cassidy. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2006. I started working with Dr. Melissa right after I graduated. I am married to my wonderful husband and we have 4 children. We enjoy being outside. Our children keep us busy with all of their sports and activities. Fun Fact: I love decorating for the holidays and making crafts with our children.
Hi! I'm Janice. I'm the Practice Administrator for Dr. Melisssa's office. I'm married to my amazing husband, Jamie - whom you might have seen on a local fire truck and I have two sweet girls - Addison & Emerson. My family loves spending time together especially boating and doing water sports of any kind. Even our Labrador, Sulley, loves to go tubing & jet skiing! Fun fact about me: My bucket list includes visiting all 50 states and traveling on all of the Disney cruise ships!
Hey there, I am Jennifer! I work in the front office. You will see my smiling face as you come through the door. I have worked with Dr. Melissa since 2004. I am married to my wonderful husband and we have 3 beautiful children and two dogs. Our children keep us very busy with all of their activities. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and we love watching baseball and football together. A fun fact about me is you might catch me driving down the road signing really loud. I love to sing and dance to embarrass my children!
Hi, I am Joyce! I graduated from IU School of Dentistry, Dental Assisting program in 1989. I recently celebrated 25 years as a certified dental assistant, all of those years spent in pediatrics. I have worked with Dr. Melissa since 2004. I live in Plainfield with my husband and 3 children. We love the outdoors and spend a lot of time on the soccer field and camping. I love to do lawn work and gardening. A fun fact about me: I love to spend time with my family at our lake property fishing, riding the tractor, and running the chainsaw.
My name is Kami. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana Dental Hygiene program in 2007. I started working with Dr. Melissa right after I graduated. I am married to my wonderful husband and we have two energetic little girls. As a family, we love to go on bike rides, play soccer and T-ball outside, and go to the movies. Our girls love everything Disney, and they both think that they are princesses. A fun fact about me is that I love to dress up and have tea parties with my princesses.
Hi! I am Kayla. I have been a dental assistant since 2002. I have been here with Dr. Melissa since 2010. I am a big animal lover. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. Although if my cat could talk, she would tell you that she is a dog too! My husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors, camping and taking trips on our motorcycle. I also have a passion for cooking and entertaining friends and family. A fun fact about me is that I love to randomly break out into song. My animals probably think I am crazy because I sing to them all the time.

I switched from general to pediatric dentistry in May 2018 because I have always loved working with kiddos and am very involved in the special needs community! Hello! My name is Kylie. I graduated from hygiene school at IU school of Dentistry in 2013. I have been working in pediatric dentistry ever since then. I am married to my husband Mitchell, and we are expecting our first baby. We have a labradoodle named Luna. Fun fact about me - I love teeth so much that I even clean my dogs teeth every 6 months!

As previous reviews have stated, the front office is very rude and unhelpful. Clinically, we discovered after having many 2nd opinions for my 2 year old that there were several things overlooked and missed that have resulted in some serious dental work (3 different dentist offices all have come to the same conclusion). Ethically, after I brought up my hesitancy towards a treatment plan (after multiple 2nd opinions), we were dropped as patients with no notice and my other son's treatment was cancelled, which has left us with little time to set up a consult for him and get his pain and issues solved quickly.

Love Dr McHenry. She is always friendly, courteous, and my kiddos love her. We've been going there for about 5 years even after they became out-of-network. But now, we're thinking to change dentist, because of the receptionist and billing/invoice. I thought that receptionist was rude on several occasions before but brushed off thinking that was who she was or she was having a bad day, or etc... However, One time after i was done communicating with her on the phone, I overheard the receptionist making fun of our conversation with other staff, thinking the phone line was dead. I yelled "Hello, I still can hear you!" but she couldn't hear me. So now I know she makes fun of her customers after the conversation... like they smile in front of your face, then turn around and spit on your back. Thinking of Dr McHenry, I would love to stay but receptionist who makes customer feel like spit on the back and dealing with billing/invoice, I think it's not worth it to keep going there, since whenever I have an issue and make a call, I have to talk to the receptionist.

Dr. Melissa and staff are amazing! They treat my kids and myself as though we are family! I can't imagine a better dentist and staff to take care of my kids. I have one child who can be extremely nervous about doc appointments. They go above and beyond to make her feel comfortable.

I usually take care of the kids' appointments and my husband had to fill in last minute. He gets especially anxious about how things will go with our son with autism but he came home with glowing comments about how Dr. Melissa put him at ease and made them feel welcome. Her approach is truly a great example for the profession and we're lucky to have her taking care of our family!!!

Dr. Melissa and her staff were so great with my daughter. She's 15 months and this was her first dental visit. As with most toddlers, her acceptance of tooth brushing varies by the day, sometimes even the minute, and I was worried how she'd take to the dentist. The staff were so helpful and comforting. She was actually able to have her teeth cleaned and a fluoride treatment! I'm pleasantly shocked by this! They were also great at answering my questions to ensure we are getting a good start with dental care.

Dr McHenry and her staff are truly the best of the best. We have been going there for years with all of our kids. She always has a smile and hug to offer. They have been amazing to our family and make it feel like visiting an old friend. Our kids love her and tears are not existent there.

We bounced around a few different dentists for quite some time before we landed here. Seriously could not ask for a better experience. I suggest them to everyone. I wont go anywhere but here from now on .
