Hi! We're Richard H. Zimmer, DDS and Colleen Fahey Zimmer, DDS, the dentists at Zimmer Family Dentistry. We met as classmates at Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, DC and graduated with the Class of 1984. Next, we served as dental officers in the US Navy Dental Corps until 1991, when we moved to Fort Collins to put down roots, establish a family dental practice, and raise our two children.
We have been or are members of numerous professional and continuing education societies including the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Society, the Larimer County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. We are both recognized as being among Colorado's Top Dentists by 5280: The Denver Magazine.

Consistently awesome, professional, considerate care! I have been a patient since they bought the practice from my former dentist-- 30 plus years. Recently I needed four crowns -- kind of like the queen ?!?! -- Colleen explained the process, scheduled around our trips and all went very well. The staff have always been friendly and efficient. Thank you soooooo very much!!

They are prompt and efficient. I seldom wait more than a few minutes for the hygienist. Likewise, the doctor is personable, but timely. I feel my care is excellent and recommendations doable.

Going to the Dentist is not always something we look forward to. At Zimmer Family Dentistry the staff is always upbeat, professional, caring, and informative contributing to a less stressful experience. I have been a patient for many years and will continue for many more.

I got my teeth cleaned yesterday at Zimmer's. I really appreciate the professional and well trained approach that the dental assistants always use with patients. The staff had taken several precautions for the ongoing Coronavirus situation and I felt very safe. The staff always welcomes you like family and both of the Zimmer dentists are very upbeat, kind and knowledgeable. I have been going to the Zimmer's for many years now and it is a first rate operation that I would recommend to anyone.

I have been visiting the Zimmer's now for several years.... They have made every visit a great. I truly appreciate their exceptional personalized care, cleanliness and attention to details. Everyone has been great and always making sure there's plenty of notice for appointment times! Plus, they are very cool folks to talk to.

Dr. Rick takes time to ask how you are doing and remembers details of past conversations that make you feel valued. The Zimmers and their staff are excellent in the work they do and are a cohesive, positive team.

Very professional and personable husband and wife dentist team. They are definitely focused on building strong relationships with their patients. The office administrative team is also great to work with and the office itself is nicely designed and recently renovated. Dental practices and equipment seem up to date and well functioning.
