Dr. Zidel is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Columbus Dental Society, O.S.U. Dental Alumni, and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. He is active in many civic, athletic and vocational organizations, often volunteering his services.
Dr. Eric is married to his wife Katrina and is the father of two girls, Maya and Camryn. His outside interests include various service organizations including the local Non Profit In Christys Shoes and The Wexner Heritage Village. Hes an avid golfer, skier, runner and sports fan (he bleeds scarlet and gray.) He finds the practice of dentistry both rewarding and challenging and looks forward to serving the community for many years to come.
Dr. Matt's outside interests include going to events around Columbus, attending Blue Jacket Hockey games, OSU football games and concerts. He is a golfer, skier, bowler, biker, tennis player, traveller and animal lover. Dr. Matt is looking forward to getting to know his patients and making lasting relationships.
Dr. Evan Is married to his wife Ali and they have a handsome dog named Murphy. His outside interests include taking Murphy for hikes, golfing, playing lacrosse and rooting on the Bengals. Who Dey! He loves the way dentistry can impact people's lives and rebuild confidence with a new beautiful smile. He is looking forward meeting his patients and building long lasting relationships in the community.

I thought that I had hit the jackpot. I thought that I finally found a great dentist office only five minutes away from home. With my first visit I thought that the first hygienist was being a bit rough and she had a demeanor like she didn't want to clean my teeth. I came back a second time because the dentist was nice. He recommended that I get a repair on a filling. I made an appointment. When I came back to have my feeling repaired, nobody knew what was going on. Nothing was documented. The dentist still repaired my filling. I was back for a cleaning back in February. My son was with me so the hygienist seemed to take her time and wasn't as harsh. She told me to come back every four months. I could not get a four month appointment scheduled at that time. The hygienist told me someone would call me to schedule the four month appointment. No one did so I had an eighth month appointment today. Again, my wait was long. I felt like the hygienist was avoiding to clean my teeth. When she did she was very harsh. When I came in I explained that my gums and teeth were already sensitive. She was very harsh and just seemed that she was in a rush. She tried to schedule my four month appointment. I told her that I would not be coming back. I will be looking for another dentist office again.

Unfortunately I really had hoped for an better rating to give. But because of the past with them, I am still going through the nightmare process of another dentist needing to fix the mess that this dentist office had done to my teeth. Even now I'm having a hard time trusting a dentist.

Zidel Dental Group is the BEST dental group. Everyone in the office goes out of their way to be helpful! Dr. Eric does a fantastic job and he thinks about what is best for his patients! He is personal and remembers things about our family. The office manager has gone out of her way several times to help us get insurance paperwork and get our children appoints when they are home from college. This is an excellent place with people who genuinely care!

I have been going to Zidel Dental Group for 10 yrs or more. This place is great. They are prompt on appointments and super friendly. Absolutely love Dr. Eric. Great dentist and very caring!! Would give 10 stars if I could.

Awesome staff and Dr. Evans is wonderful. I am one to avoid Dentist till it is a must. This clinic had a calming effect and I felt comfortable with their care.

Dr E and all of his staff are AMAZING at Zidel Dental .. My front teeth were a mess and giving me a complex .. Dr E worked his magic and bonded them back together .. My smile is back and I gained a little self confidence too thanks him ..

This practice has been the best. The dentist's and well everyone don't judge and are understanding that we are all human and make mistakes. Staff do their best to make dental work as comfortable as possible. By far best dental practice in my experience.

I just wanted to say with everything that's going on at this moment. I cracked my tooth in half today n the dentist took me in pulled my tooth painless I was scared cause I hate needles every dentist I've been to say it's not going to hurt they numb me n guess what it hurt but this place was GREAT!!! Thank you guys for everything 5stars

I've been coming here for years now. First of all the office is always very clean & has a nice modern feel. It's a very comfortable environment as a patient. Dr. Eric Zidel is the kindest and funniest dentist I have ever had! He really takes the time to know his patients personally and it shows that he really cares for each one of them. All of the hygienists and staff are extremely friendly and nice too. The work that they do all around is incredible. I have them to thank for the smile that I have! They all make me look forward to going to the dentist!

I am that person that loathes going to the dentist! I had an emergency situation and as someone that was not a patient of theirs, they got me in the day I called and I had the most gentle dentist experience of my life! I will be returning and I highly recommend!

Has been a while since I been to a dentist. But everyone was super nice and it was very clean. The assistants and dentist were very helpful and good. And also it's very affordable here. Much cheaper than Aspen dental. Had a tooth pulled and they were extremely nice and fast. My new dentist place and will be coming for reg check ups and and cleanings.

After a long stint away from the dentist--due largely to my own procrastination--I basically earned a bad office experience for myself. Thankfully, the hygienists and dentists at Zidel are very good at what they do; not just technically, but socially! I had a positive, thorough, and personable experience with a cleaning and a filling replacement with these folks, and with my long history of "dental anxiety", that was worth a LOT. Thanks guys!

Always an easy visit here. I come for my regular cleanings and the hygienists do a great job. Today during my visit, they were being diligent about temperature checks and ensuring the safety of patients and staff during COVID. Dr. Gold is the best.

The entire office is ran in a way that minimizes personal interaction and building a relationship with your dentist. There are multiple dentists in the building, and you never know which one you're going to get. Not to mention a huge number of dental assistants that also don't remain consistent. The have great dental technology, and the facility is very clean and modern, but the staff kill the only strengths they had with their inconsistency in building relationships with their patients. Find a dentist who at least knows your name - not one who will pass you off to their newest partner.

First time visit! Was an awesome experience. The work that I had done was a cavity drilled, filled, and old metal fillings removed and replaced with the new whatever it is. My bite has never been better. WHAT A GREAT JOB. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I have more dental work that needs to be done and I know it will be perfect. I am so pleased. I am looking forward to getting all my dental work completed, don't get me wrong, I am not looking forward to the procedure, who likes dental work? No one! I am looking forward to having all the metal out of my mouth and a great bite once again!

Who looks forward to going to the dentist? Yep, that's right, me. My family has been going to the Zidel group for many years. After switching from my Orthodontist/ Pediatric dentist I went to another dentist who was insisting on removing my wisdom teeth for no reason (other than money I'm sure). The Zidel group is in agreement they can stay! I've now been a patient for almost 20 years and love seeing them twice a year!
