Zeik Dental is proud to announce Dr. Joan P. Klayton has joined our team. Dr. Klayton is a board certified Orthodontist with over 20 years of experience. Aligning with the core beliefs of Zeik Dental, She is dedicated to providing individualized orthodontic treatments most suitable for her patientsneeds and desires, while consistently committed to achieving the highest standards in care and comfort. She has been awarded the coveted Fellowship (FAGD) status in the Academy ofGeneral Dentistry, an achievement of which only 14 orthodontists had attained at the time worldwide.
Dr. Klayton attended the Temple University School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and graduated in the top ten percent of her class. After a year of hospital based general practiceresidency, Dr. Klayton practiced general dentistry for four years in Philadelphia & South Jersey. After practicing general dentistry for years, Dr. Klayton decided to specialize in the area of dentistry she loves most and entered into the prestigious UMDNJ Orthodontic Program.
Dr. Klayton is native to New Jersey. She grew up locally in Ocean Township. Currently, she is actively involved with finding forever homes for homeless dogs at risk of euthanasia. Dr. Klayton is also a former state champion gymnast and loves keeping physically active withhiking, water and snow skiing, horseback riding, swimming and even trapeze.

Dr. Zeik took the time to really look into a dental situation that has been affecting me and to diagnose it. No one to date had either gone to such detail or had been willing to really take a close look. He took a curious approach and was willing to listen to what I shared and then connected the dots. (Others tried to tell me that I didn't know what I was talking about and even tried to discredit anyone who had either provided therapy to help me function in the meantime or discounted professionals who had said there was indeed a problem.) His diagnosis was astute and got to the root of what's been happening, and it enabled my primary dentist to have the evidence and proof that was needed to advocate on my behalf. There are some unusual cases out there in dentistry, and in my rather large search to get help and someone to really dig into what was happening, Dr. Zeik was the only one who looked at the problem closely and as someone who cares. His demeanor is likely the reason he was able to provide such a conclusion - as a result of being openminded and lots of other learning. Most of the other doctors I met along the way were afraid to look at the situation objectively because they just didn't want to deal with it. If you find yourself in such a situation, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Zeik for a consult.

Dr. Zeik! What can I say. I have been a patient of Dr. Zeik for a while. He TRULY is the best of the BEST. I have some dental anxiety, but he is a pro at easing your dental fears. Yesterday I had a crown replaced (an old crown done by a different dentist years ago), Dr. Zeik took the time to explain what he was going to do and reassured me through each step. If you want a knowledgeable but kind and compassionate dentist, then Dr. Zeik is your guy. He cares. He gives you great tips on how to easily maintain your dental health. He explains things in a real and honest way and is always 100% dedicated to your appointment. Awesome experience!

After jumping around from one dental practice to another, both my 9 year old son and I couldn't be happier with the care, patience, and knowledge provided to us by Dr. Zeik and his staff. There is no other dentist in the area that is more knowledgable and more willing to share that knowledge with their patients. Every time I walk into Zeik Dental Doctor Zeik is always eager to educate me on how to properly take care of my teeth and gums. I highly recommend Doctor Zeik to anyone in need a trusted family dentist.

Let me start off by saying I dread going to the dentist, as many of us do, and I've definitely been to plenty of them on my journey to search for the best. The level of courtesy, professionalism, technical expertise and respect you receive when you're in this office is by far the absolute BEST I've ever experienced in my life. I highly recommended!

If I can give ten stars to Dr. Zeik I would!!! I have always had such fears going for any type of dental work but Dr. Zeik has given me a new sense of trust in both pain free dentistry and the overall compassion and understanding he extends. He is the best! I drive over an hour just for Dr. Zeik to do my cleanings. he has an amazing work ethic and takes his time to explain you the best options and treatments. He did my crown last year and I was very happy with his work. This year I started with my cleaning and I can't be any happier with his job.

I have been going to Dr. Zeik for several years for cleanings and check ups. He is an excellent dentist, I live now in CT, but still travel to New Jersey because I appreciate him and his staff very much! He is also fantastic with children!

What an amazing experience!!! He is extremely honest, caring & kind. He takes his time with every patient, I know because he sees my children. I couldn't ask for a better dentist... Honestly, I hated going to the dentist as a child but I look forward to my dental appointments now. His staff is amazing and so is Dr. Zeik!!!! I never leave reviews but this one is worth leaving. I promise you if you see Dr. Zeik he will be your dentist for life! (Please forgive my name I can't figure out how to remove my son from my google account, my name is Nicole Sierra!)

Been trying to get x-rays back for a month now, super illegal to withhold records. Don't go, my sister is a patient of theirs I'm writing the review on her behalf. His response is a joke and ignores that he hasn't gotten x-rays back. Unprofessional, my sister has been emailing and calling them non-stop for a month for 3D ones so they are super expensive.

I moved to Holmdel from NYC and I was in need for a good dentist, luckily I found Dr. Zeik, he is amazing!!! I was in so much much pain and I called on a Saturday requesting an appointment.... Dr. Zeik agreed to see me on the same day, he was so professional and understanding and explained everything in a calm and professional manner. I got a root canal and a crown all with Dr. Zeik and I couldn't be happier. He's the best!!!
