I began my career in dentistry in 1994, working with Dr. Roger Zehren until his retirement. In 2003, I began working with Dr. Peter Zehren, working in many different capacities throughout the years, as was needed. Over the last 21 years in the dental field, I have enjoyed helping people with their dental needs. In my spare time, I enjoy helping people who have food allergies, by baking and developing recipes that are safe for their specific needs.
I have been the financial coordinator at Zehren Dental since October of 2017. I help our patients utilize their insurance benefits in the way that is best for them. It has been fun getting to know and learn all of our patients. One thing I enjoy the most about my job is seeing complete smile transformations in patients it totally changes the patient that I first met! I live in Fountain City with my fianc - Cody, daughter - Addison, our chocolate lab - Maddie, and our cat - Louie. In my free time, I enjoy shopping, cooking out, and spending long days on the river with our friends and family.
I have worked in dentistry since 2017. I take several educational courses every year to expand my knowledge and skills in every aspect of dentistry. My mission is to make every patient comfortable and give high-quality care that they deserve. My favorite part of my job would be helping patients through a course of treatment to be completely transformed - not only physically but emotionally and mentally. I want and find the best ways to make my patients comfortable and excited to return to continue treatment at Zehren Dental. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ryan and two daughters, Kianna and Reagan on our hobby farm outside of Wabasha. I enjoy pool parties at our house, horseback riding, camp fires and shopping.
My name is Kristi and I have been a dental hygienist/assistant for 10+ years. I have lived in the Coulee area my whole life. I have three children ages 12, 9, and 3. We enjoy camping at our permanent site, boating on the river, and biking. Dental is more than a career for me it really is a passion. It is rewarding in so many ways that make this profession so much fun! Do not let your fear, anxiety, & embarrassment prevent you from addressing your dental needs. Ryan, who will receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the College of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University- Illinois, is a familiar face in the Winona area. Once a student studying Cell and Molecular Biology at Winona State University, you could also find Ryan on the football field. As captain of the 2014 Warrior Football Team, and a player from 2010-2014, Ryan was honored with awards not only for his athletic accomplishments, but for outstanding community work and leadership on the team.
In 2014, Ryan was one of 22 football players in the United States to be recognized on the All-State Good Works Team. This respected college football award pays tribute to a select group of athletes who have worked to positively influence the lives of others in their communities. Ryan also received the 2011 NSIC Defensive Newcomer of the Year Award, was a 3-time All- NSIC Team Member and a 2013 & 2014 USA College Sports Preseason All-American. Ryan also received the 2014 Glen Galligan Award, which is awarded to honor an outstanding senior football player in the NSIC.
Following his time in Winona, Ryan has had the fortunate opportunity to earn his dental education at an institution that is at the cutting edge of dental technology and utilizes the newest techniques in the field. This education has allowed Ryan to pursue his interests in: Same-Day Crowns, root canal therapy, clear aligner orthodontics (Invisalign) and implant dentistry. He is also excited for the opportunity to become a role model to the children of the practice, just as his dentist had been to him while growing up. Ryan is committed to a life of continuing education in order to provide his patients with comfortable and quality dental care for many years to come.

Thats what really intrigued me about his practice his ability to use that expertise to provide the best possible care to his patients. And also, how well he treats the patients, staff and the community that supports him.'
Getting the opportunity to join Dr. Zehrens team in a community Kaitlyn and I have grown to love and have hoped to eventually put roots down in is very humbling. I look forward to building trusting relationships with new and existing patients, seeing some familiar faces and proudly representing Zehren Dental in the Winona area.
