Dr. Rasika Zeff has been practicing dentistry for the last 14 years. She moved to Reno after completing her residency in California to join her husband in Nevada.Dr. Zeff has been a part of the Reno community for the last 10 years and has enjoyed every minute of it! When Dr. Zeff is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, The Other Dr. Zeff and their three kids: Parker (5), Mason (4) and Collin (1).You can find the Zeff family on the soccer or baseball fields, hiking, skiingand just enjoying the great outdoors that the Reno-Tahoe area has to offer all families.
Dr. Zeff completed her three-year pediatric dental residency at the University of California San Francisco along with a Masters of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. Dr. Zeff is a licensed pediatric specialist in California and Nevada and provides hospital dentistry. She is currently the only female Board Certified Pediatric Dentist in the South Reno area. During the certification process a written examination followed by an oral examination with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry is completed that determines the proficiency of pediatric dentists. Only about 47% of practicing pediatric dentists are board certified.
Dr. Zeff received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Pacific in San Francisco after gaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Biochemistry from the California Polytechnic State University. Dr. Zeff is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Nevada Dental Association, Northern Nevada Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
