The place is super great, I don't know why everyone hates the receptionist I have a fine time talking to her and she's super friendly. Also the dentists assistant is really nice!

2/17/2017 I decided to change dental offices and gave this one a chance, it's close to home and seemed like a good option. Marc Zauderer himself is a kind man who did good work and I appreciated him and thought I finally found a dentist office that I liked. However, setting up the appointment was very stressful through the receptionist named Andrea. She kept quoting me different prices for days we played telephone tag. Finally we came to a conclusion and I had my appointment and paid what I was told the amount would be. However, a week or so before Christmas I received a bill that I was not pleased with. When I was at the office she told me I'd probably see a bill for 50.00 I was annoyed but it was whatever. However, this bill was MUCH more than that. I called upset but she said it was taken care of and that I don't have to pay it. Well then January comes and I get another bill, I call leave a voicemail and we play telephone tag yet again. once again she says its taken care of and I don't have to pay. well here we are for the third month in a row and ive had enough. I received another bill and left a voicemail but theyre closed f-s so I have to wait till Monday. its safe to say that they lost a patient due to their poor receptionist and her lack of communication, knowledge and unfulfilled promises.

Dr. Z is an okay dentist, but I have had multiple billing errors over the past 3 years my family has been with him. It is a total nightmare trying to get any *accurate* information out of Andrea, the receptionist, about whether a procedure is covered or not under insurance. I have been billed for what should have been 100% covered because they used the wrong code. When my employer switched insurance providers, I checked with Andrea if they still are covered, and she said yes. Turns out they were covered as "premium" providers. I ended up getting billed $340 when I should have paid $140. She offered to take $40 off if I paid cash. I refused because I would rather settle the bill properly in the right way instead of having the settlement not recognized and getting billed for it again. Their billing company is separate and independent. I STRONGLY advise you not to give them your business - it has been a constant irritant for 3 years.

We left Dr. Zauderer because of the unkind way he was dealing with us as a family. The one place you want to feel comfortable, is in the dentist chair, which was not the case with him. We left and found an amazing dentist in the same town. The only regret we have is for not leaving earlier. The last time I saw him, was when he replaced a bridge in my mouth with a color that is at least 5 shades off from the rest of my teeth. I regret for accepting it, but the problem is that I would have been stuck with the bill anyways, with or without the bridge. So I really had no choice. Overall a bad experience.

First time I went was to replace a crown. They told me it would be $500 if I paid in cash. A couple days before my appointment his receptionist called and said I needed to bring the $500 in then. Why couldn't I just pay it when I come in for my appointment? Why make a special trip there to pay before my appointment? Very inconsiderate and inconvenient! But I made the special trip there to take the cash to her. Then I go for my appointment. At this appointment he tells me I need one filling. His receptionist looks up my cost for a filling. I make the appointment. At the appointment she again tells me the cost, the same as she told me the first time. I paid in full again. A few months later I get a very rude, unprofessional letter saying I had not made a payment on my account for awhile. What?? I do not have an account! I paid in full both times! I called the office three times to talk to the office manager and all three times she was not there because she left work early. So on the fourth try I reminded the receptionist I paid in full the two times I was there but I was sent this extremely rude letter saying I have a balance. So she says she will check on it. She calls me back and said there was two mistakes they made. The first one was an over charge on the crown so she took it off, the second one she said she told me the wrong cost on the filling. I said you looked it up before my appointment and at my appointment and gave me the same price both times. How did you make the mistake twice? Of course she didn't know. So paying in full at the time of service both times and they made errors both times. Dealing with all of that caused extreme inconvenience to me by the office staff. The dentist himself was very strange. He sang while he worked on me which I thought was unprofessional. He was much rougher than my previous dentist, (because of insurance changes my previous dentist was no longer in network). Twice he snapped at his assistant while he was working on me which made me feel even more uncomfortable. I will never go back to this dentist. Gina Roth
