When it comes to orthodontic care, people are quick to assume it is not important. However, crooked teeth that are out of alignment can lead to tooth decay, infection and worse. With that in mind, we use orthodontic care to help prevent these issues by straightening teeth to help keep them in the proper position. With aligned teeth, patients will have a much easier time cleaning their teeth.
At Zarabi Orthodontics, we strive to help enhance the patients smile by aligning the teeth and helping correct other orthodontic issues. We will customize any type of orthodontic treatment to fit the individual patients mouth. With our professional guidance and effort of the patient, we can help them achieve the straight teeth they desire.
Dr. Zarabi has been in private practice for nearly 20 years. He attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook Dental School, graduating second in his class and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) . He then went on to complete his 3 Year post-graduate orthodontic residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook Dental School.
He continues to further his education by taking continuing education courses to learn the newest technologies and how they should be implemented in practice. He keeps up to date with the latest literature on all the recent technologies that have been introduced to the field of orthodontics. He has lectured at the Greater New York dental meeting and as a former associate professor of orthodontics has taught at the orthodontic program at NYU.
He is committed to providing his patients with the most advanced treatment options combined with traditional, hands-on care to ensure the unique needs of each patient are met Dr. Zarabi takes pride in his work making sure each smile is perfect. He enjoys watching children grow and mature during their treatment and the challenges that each case brings.
A native of New York, he spends his free time skiing, biking, and with his family. He is also active in the jewish community. He and his wife, Marilyn enjoy raising their 4 children on the upper east side.

My three children went to Dr. David Zarabi for braces. They each had different challenges with their teeth. Dr. Zarabi had a different plan for each child and the results are fantastic. They are constantly complimented on their smiles and are asked who was there orthodontist. Years later we are still thrilled with the results. Dr. David Zarabi and his entire staff were accommodating and a pleasure to work with.

Dr. Zarabi is kind, compassionate, and very professional. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and what needs to be done next. His secretary, Aisa is very friendly and helpful as well. I always feel comfortable during my visits. Scheduling follow up visits has always been a breeze, too. Though I still have a few more months to complete my treatment, I am already so satisfied with the results! I highly recommend him!

I recommend Dr. Zarabi. Overall experience was good and my teeth look great. My case was challenging as I had an impacted baby tooth; he successfully pulled down the adult tooth while using Invisalign to straighten and create space for my teeth.

Dr. Zarabi is the best! He gave me back my smile and made the whole process smooth and easy. Also, the timing he promised for how long I would have to wear braces was right on target! I can't thank him enough for fixing my teeth and highly recommend him as an orthodontist for both adults and kids!!

Feel very fortunate to be in the care of Dr. Zarabi. After a severe / traumatic incident, which affected more than just my jaw and teeth and the orthodontic work therein / needing other surgeries for multiple facial fractures, I am now working with him to hopefully correct the aftermath. Dr. Zarabi is thoughtful, patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to answer any and all questions. The staff - namely, Aisa - is fantastic, too. It is rare to find doctors with whom you fully trust and are comfortable. Accordingly, I can not recommend him highly enough.

I've been coming to Dr. Zarabi since June 2018 for Invisalign treatment after my previous orthodontist did a poor job. My teeth are far better than they've ever been and the treatment has been incredibly fast.
