My first family is my husband, Dean, also since 1985. Dean is a technology teacher with East Muskingum Schools. When we arent working we love watching our sports. We are big Reds fans and long-time Buckeyes!!

Hello, Im Karen. Ive been a dental assistant here in Zanesville since 1987, and have worked with Dr. Fuhriman (and later Zanesville Dental) since 2006. My husband, Larry and I have two grown daughters, Kayley and Payton.

I started working in the dental field in 1993 and earned my EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) License in 2003, and my Coronal Polishing License in 2004 at The Ohio State University. Since joining Zanesville Dental in 2012, Ive really enjoyed being a part of the Zanesville Dental team. I love getting to know my patients on a personal level and seeing their smiling faces on return visits.

I am happily married to my husband Eric. Together we have a daughter Kirsten, 2 dogs Boone and Piper, and a Quarter Horse Riley. Outside the office I enjoy camping, running, watching our daughter show horses, and cheering on the Columbus Blue Jackets.

My name is Lindsay Abrams and I started my dental career as an assistant here at Zanesville Dental in 2005. I attended The Ohio State University to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in 2010. My husband Troy and I have a son, Myles. We enjoy being active with our North Terrace church family, rooting for the Buckeyes, Browns, and Reds. We also really enjoy using our smoker several times a week and can make some pretty awesome ribs, pulled pork, and brisket! I love working at Zanesville Dental and consider my coworkers family.

I graduated from dental assisting school in December 2020 and immediately started my career here at Zanesville Dental. I am truly blessed to get to work with such and incredible team every day! When Im not at work, I am usually cuddled on the couch with my German Shepherd Dot, and my cats Major and Vespa. I love to cook, hike, swim, and cheer on the buckeyes. Go Bucks!

Hello, my name is Lora. I am a graduate of West Liberty and have been a dental hygienist since 1985. I have been with Zanesville Dental since 1997. My husband Jeff and I have a grown son named Jacob. We love spending our spare time with family, camping, and watching the Buckeyes! Go Bucks!

Im Diane Kolopajlo. I have been a dental hygienist since 1980. I have worked with Dr. Fuhriman since 2004. My husband and I have two grown daughters and three grandchildren. We enjoy camping and riding our scooters in our spare time.

Hello everyone! My name is Melissa and Ive been a dental hygienist at Zanesville Dental since 2008, although you may have seen my face around the office for several years prior! I graduated from Tri-valley High School, attended Brigham Young University and then graduated from Utah College of Dental Hygiene.

My husband, Ben, and I moved back to Ohio when I had the opportunity to work with my dad. We have 4 children- Logan, Ian, Leah, and Dallin. We love being involved with school athletics and activities. I enjoy playing the piano, gardening, traveling with my family and eating good food! I consider myself very blessed to work with awesome people every day and to also have great relationships with my patients, whom many have become good friends.

Hi! Im Becky and I began my career in the dental field in 1977. I began working with Dr. Fuhriman in 2004 and we joined Zanesville Dental in 2011. My husband Roger and I have 2 children, Shane and Whitney and 2 granddaughters, Paige and Zoie. I enjoy watching sports, especially soccer and basketball, and walking my dog, Henry.

Hi! My name is Kendra and I am the newest member at Zanesville Dental, and also new to dentistry. I have had prior office experience in the medical field for 11 years. I have been married to my husband Andrew for almost 10 years. We have two beautiful girls, Raelyn and Remi. I love to cook, help serve others, and I try to take any chance I can to go to the ocean. No better sound than hearing the waves. I am beyond excited for the opportunity to be a part of such a great team. I look forward to meeting all of you!

Dr. Andy Fuhriman grew up near the Rocky Mountains in Idaho. After graduating from high school in Sandpoint Idaho, Dr. Fuhriman served for two years as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the South American country of Ecuador, where he learned to speak spanish.

After his mission, Dr. Fuhriman attended Boise State University. After graduating from Boise State, Dr. Fuhriman and his family moved to Ohio to attend the College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University. It was after graduating from Ohio State that Dr. Fuhriman and his family moved to Zanesville.

Dr. Fuhriman enjoys being outdoors, whether it is camping, backpacking, fishing, or anything else that involves being outdoors. Dr. Fuhriman and his wife Rachel have eight kids, who keep them very busy. Dr. Fuhriman spends a lot of time coaching local youth sports teams that his kids play on.

Dr. Fuhrimans emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable him to provide patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Andy Fuhriman has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to orthodontics.

After graduating from Reynoldsburg High School in 1980, Dr. Williams went on to attend Ohio State University, Newark Campus. After his freshman year, Dr. Williams served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brisbane, Australia.

Once home, he attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Chemistry. It was then that he married his childhood sweetheart, Sarah, with whom he has had three wonderful children: Melissa, Nikki and Alex.

Dr. Williams went on to attend the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, graduating in 1990 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Throughout his studies at OSU, he earned numerous awards and honors. Dr. Williams was one of only two senior dental students placed on the training staff of the Ohio State University Athletic Department.

While on the training staff, his duties included caring for any trauma sustained during an athletes play, constructing custom mouth guards and performing oral surgery (mainly wisdom teeth removal). His treatment enabled athletes to perform in their chosen sports.

His experience serving as a team dentist and with an office in the Woody Hayes Practice Facility created a die-hard Buckeye fan. Dr. Williams will be glad to take a trip down memory lane with you, showing you his letter jacket and OSU flag which was presented to him by the OSU training staff for his 89-90 season of service.

The partnership formed by the joining of two progressive dental practices was begun in January 2010 when Drs. Williams and Fuhriman merged their individual practices. They feel this allows their patients a much wider range of services without having to go outside the expertise of these two practitioners.

Dentistry is a dynamic field, constantly changing. Techniques and materials continuously evolve. Dr. Williams believes in keeping up with the latest. With a great deal of emphasis on continuing education, Dr. Williams serves both as a lecturer and as a student.

He delivers lectures that cover oral and IV moderate sedation techniques to other dentists and staff. He has participated in more than 1000 hours of continuing education courses. He was awarded Fellowships from the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also holds a Masters Certificate from the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the College of Conscious Sedation. Dr. Williams has served as the immediate past president of the Muskingum Valley Dental Society and continues as its chairman for the Committee on Peer Review. He has served on the state level in organized dentistry as a delegate representing this geographical area in the House of Delegates of the Ohio Dental Association and as a member of the Council on Dental Care Programs and Dental Practice.

While hes deeply dedicated to his practice, patients and staff, Dr. Williams feels most at home when surrounded by his family. His daughter, Melissa, graduated in April 2008 with a degree in dental hygiene from the Utah College of Dental Hygiene and returned to Zanesville to practice with her dad. She was married in June 2006 to Ben Heemeyer of Troutdale, Oregon who also graduated from Brigham Young University and is now a supervisor for Spectrum. They are the proud parents of Dr. Williams grandsons, Logan, Ian, Dallin and a grandaughter, Leah.

Nikki and her husband, Gerry, have been married since December of 2009. They both graduated from Brigham Young University and have moved to back to Zanesville, where her husband works as an assistant prosecutor for Muskingum County. Nikki uses her psychology degree as she works at the most challenging and valuable of all professions, that of motherhood. Gerry and Nikki are the parents of 4 beautiful girls named Alice and Colette (who are twins), and then Gwen and Gemma.

Alex returned home in June 2013 from serving a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. He has mastered Spanish and has come to appreciate hot showers and anything to eat other than rice, beans and chicken! He is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he is majored in Exercise Sciences. He attended the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and graduated in 2020 with his DDS degree. He has joined his dad in practice. He got married in April 2014 to his beautiful bride, Chelsea, who is originally from Westerville, Ohio. They have two gorgeous girls Addie and Ellie.

Dr. Alex Williams grew up in Nashport, Ohio and graduated from Tri-Valley High School. After high school, he studied Exercise Science at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Between his freshman and sophomore years at BYU, Dr. Alex served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in San Pedro Sula, Honduras for two years speaking Spanish. He is still excited when he gets to practice his Spanish with patients!

While finishing his studies at BYU, he married his high school sweetheart Chelsea, who is from Westerville, Ohio. They now have two beautiful little girls, Adaline and Elise, and Dr. Alex is always happy to show you a picture or tell you a story about them.

After graduating with his Bachelors in Exercise Science from BYU, he was accepted to OSU College of Dentistry where he graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2020. Dr. Alex loves to meet new patients and wants to get you to the smile of your dreams. His focus is to not only do dentistry, but to help educate the patient about possible treatment options and help the patient make the correct decision for his or her own treatment going forward. Dr. Alex is Dr. Williams son and is happy to be working alongside his father and Dr. Fuhriman who he knew well while he lived here before his studies.

I am excited to be working with such wonderful patients and staff back here in my hometown and to help every patient with his or her dental needs. I try to be available to answer any questions and resolve any concerns you may have.
