Dr.Zamaitis and his staff are all wonderful people, I'd be glad to get a beer with any of them. And he's one of the nicest guys I've ever met. But unfortunately I can't in good conscience recommend him as a dentist. When he gives fillings he makes a significantly larger hole than necessary, and everytime I got one from him the novacane hadn't fully kicked in so it hurt like hell. I didn't realize this wasn't the norm until I started seeing another dentist. I'd spend what felt like an hour in the chair at Doctor Zamaitis' whereas now I've barely sat down before the procedure is finished. But I was willing to accept that maybe he's just a bit slower paced when it comes to fillings, which wouldn't be an issue. But for the past two months I've been dealing with severe pain in one of the teeth that he worked on, and at my last examination we realized the colossal filling he put in my molar was pressed against the nerve. It had begun developing an abscess and now I have to get it removed. My father lost three teeth because of shoddy work done by Dr.Zamaitis, my sister got a root canal because he messed up a filling. And my mother spent thousands on a set of false teeth that didn't even fit in her mouth properly. I'd love to be able to suggest you choose him for any dental needs, but I can't.
