Dr. Stuart Zaller earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. His further qualifications include membership in the American Dental Association and Advanced General Dentistry, and he has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and attends over 40 hours of continuing education courses every year. Dr. Zaller has been a clinical instructor at the Deans Faculty since 2016 and is also a consultant for dental malpractice claims for NADENT and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the Criminal Justice Information Service Division. He is on the Dental Advisory Committee for Blue Cross Blue Shield and also donates his services to the Maryland Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Dr. Zaller took over Zaller Family & Cosmetic Dentistry from his father, and as a second-generation dentist, his goal is to continue providing the same excellent dental care to patients in Reisterstown, Maryland. He was named Americas Best Dentist in 2017 and is committed to always living up to that honor!
Dr. Erin Lessans earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2001 from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. In her commitment to providing high-quality dental care, she completes 30 credits of continuing education every two years and maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the Owings Mills Study Club and the Progressive Dental Study Club. She has also received advanced training in BOTOX, sleep apnea and Invisalign treatments.
Dr. Shenk-Cooper joined our office in July 2020. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry with her DDS. She also served one year of an advanced general dentistry residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Shenk-Cooper specializes in addressing dental anxiety through the use of techniques such as relaxation therapies and essential oils. She enjoys the warmth, friendliness and laid-back nature of our office and appreciates the way everyone works together and helps one another out.
Tracey has been in dentistry for over 30 years and started her career as a dental assistant. She puts her years of experience to work making sure that our office runs smoothly and efficiently. She enjoys working with team members who genuinely care about our patients and treat them like family, not numbers.
Originally a dental assistant, Krystie enjoys the great atmosphere at Zaller Family & Cosmetic Dentistry and getting to know each patient on a personal level. She lives in Hanover, Pennsylvania, with her husband, daughter and two sons. She relaxes by shopping and exercising.
Luba joined the practice back in the fall of 2020. She has been a dental hygienist for over 14 years. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with her patients and gets along well with our crazy team. She has really become part of our family. Luba lives in Finksburg, Maryland, with her husband and two children.
Missy has been a part of Zaller Family & Cosmetic Dentistry since 2002. Her uncle is a dentist, so her love for dentistry is no surprise! She graduated magna cum laude from Allegany College of Maryland and started her career as a dental assistant. She loves being part of a caring and ethical work family, and she truly cares about each patient who steps into our office.
Missy lives in Manchester with her husband and three sons, and she spends her free time enjoying outdoor activities, being with her family, and watching her boys play baseball, football and basketball.
Elisabet joined the Zaller Family & Cosmetic Dentistry team in 2019 and helps us better serve the members of our community by speaking Spanish. She appreciates the moral and ethical approach to dentistry at our office. She is the mother of three boys, and in her spare time, she looks forward to sports, reading and brunch.

I have never had an issue with a health care provider until meeting Dr. Lessans. Zaller family dental was the worst experience I've ever had in a dental office. Communication was so poor I had to ask to revoke services because I was misled about the cost, how many I'd get, and thickness of retainers. As far as I could tell Dr. Lessans had no clue how to order them or deal with it at all but she pretended she did. It was an uncomfortable 3 visit experience and I would not recommend her to anyone. When I tried to explain why I would not be continuing to get them with her, she got defensive on the phone rather than taking responsibility for being a poor informant and a poor communicator as a service provider. I had two fillings done by them as well, and they were talking over me the whole time about their personal issues/lives, which was really awkward and unprofessional.

I don't recommend this institution. while the dentists were really good. The management or the people who submit the insurance claim as well as the account manager are not properly educated on how to submit the claims (That is the feeling I got based on my experience). My wife had her cleaning done and they submitted the claim incorrectly. I had to follow up more than four times to fix it over 4 months and they were not able to understand ANYTHING and did not bother to fix it. They only care about the INCORRECT outstanding amount and warn you that they will report to collection, DESPITE THEIR FAULT. Finally I had to give up and paid the outstanding amount THOUGH I'm FULLY COVERED BY INSURANCE just so that I don't need to deal with them. What a pain in the neck! The worst part is the receptionist in all the calls I made was rude and incompetent.

I've been seeing Stuart Zaller for 15 years now, he does a wonderful job and fortunately for today there was no major dental problems which I'm glad he was able to conclude directly and supportively. Hopefully when he moves his office a bit north in Reisterstown later this year(?) things will go even more efficiently, highly recommend him as a dentist.

Dr. Shenk is the absolute best dentist! She fit me in for an emergency appointment and is the most thorough and thoughtful doctor! She truly cares about her patients. The rest of the staff at Zaller are also very friendly and helpful. Whether on the phone or in person, they make you feel like a priority.
