Dr. Zaidi is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and completed a fellowship in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics at St. Barnabas Hospital, New York.
In her pursuit of excellence in orthodontic care, Dr. Zaidi went through a rigorous board-certification process to become board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. This accomplishment was the result of hundreds of additional hours of preparation to demonstrate her judgment, skill, and knowledge required to provide the highest level of patient care. Her extensive training makes her uniquely qualified in the management and treatment planning of complex orthodontic and restorative problems.
Committed to her involvement in the orthodontic community, Dr. Zaidi served as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary of the Meriden Wallingford Cheshire Dental Society. She currently serves on the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA) Peer Review Committee and CSDA Annual Scientific Sessions Committee. Dr. Zaidi was honored to be a speaker at the CSDA Annual Session 2018.
Dr. Zaidi is also the Director of two continuing education study clubs: the Spear Club for Dentists and the Connecticut Dental Hygiene Club. These clubs were formed to educate, promote, and foster interdisciplinary relationships between oral healthcare providers. The Connecticut Hygiene Study Club is open to all hygienists in the surrounding area and provides free CE courses four times a year to meet state continuing education requirements.

I have been working in orthodontics since 1997. I love meeting new people and being part of a great team. I am one of the first people you will meet when coming to our office. I am responsible for taking photos and assisting the doctor during your initial exam. You may also find me answering your insurance questions.
I am a lifelong resident of Wallingford. My husband Marc and I live here with our two children. When Im not working, you can find me and my family getting together with friends or on any softball field.
When you call our office, the cheerful voice you hear on the other end of the line and the first smiling face you see when you come to our office is mine. I have been working at Zaidi Orthodonticsfor 22 years and am responsible for all the scheduling needs that are the pulse of the office and keep us all on track. I love what I do and especially value the relationships built with our patients and their families.
I grew up in Meriden and graduated from Maloney High School. I am married and have two grown daughters. In my free time, you will find me crafting, baking, playing with my grandsons Matthew and Samuel and my dog, and relaxing on my porch swing watching all the wildlife.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Staff, the receptionist Karen in particular is incredibly rude and not accommodating at all. Anytime I have spoken with her to confirm or schedule my daughters appointment I am met with a sigh or rude tone as if I am inconveniencing her. The treatment itself is ok, but there is little to no communication from the Dr. about timeline or catching me up on where we are in the timeline and what still needs to be corrected. Have received better orthodontic care at other clinics with my other daughter but the lack of respect for customers at this clinic is disheartening.

My daughter finished her orthodontic treatment and we're very satisfied of the outcome. Now my son is ongoing treatment. Dr. Zaidi and her staff are excellent. They try to accommodate ff-up appointments according to your child's school schedule. Excellent customer service!

Dr. Zaidi and her staff are great! They are willing to work with you to make your treatment affordable and sustainable. They take the time to explain everything so that I can understand it. They are honest! Dr. Zaidi could have told me that my son needed additional treatment after his phase 1 treatment as his brother was starting comprehensive treatment at the same time but she was honest and told me he was all set. The staff is always willing to work with me on scheduling and payments. They truly enjoy their work and care for their patients and it is visible in their attention to their patients. Dr. Zaidi, Karen and Heather are stars in my book! I'd recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Zaidi, Heather, Megan and Karen are super friendly knowledgeable and kind. My son Doug got his braces on two years ago and they did just a wonderful job that at 40 years old I decided to go and get my teeth corrected as well!!

I have been bringing my son to their office for awhile now and absolutely love everyone there!! We're always greeted with smiling faces and they're so very friendly and very helpful!! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!
