Jeffrey C. Zackeru, DMD, was born and raised in Supply, a coastal town in southeast North Carolina. Dr. Zackeru was in high school when he realized that he wanted to become a family dentist. He was exposed to the profession early on and knew it was something he would enjoy. After graduating from college, attending dental school, and working as an associate, he is now the proud owner of Zackeru Family Dentistry. Dr. Zackeru thrives on working as a general dentist in Winston Salem, NC, and getting to know his patients on a personal level. He is committed to delivering individualized care that makes a positive difference in their health and wellbeing.
Family dentistry is the ideal profession for Dr. Zackeru because he knows that every day, he is helping members of the community improve their oral health. He understands and appreciates the importance of talking with patients and learning about their lives. Additionally, taking his time and explaining the steps of a procedure as hes working helps his patients feel relaxed and confident. Dr. Zackeru seeks to build a friendly and trustworthy relationship with patients so they focus on the positives of maintaining and advancing the health and appearance of their teeth and smile.
Dr. Zackeru and his wife are happy to call Winston Salem home. Together, they enjoy exploring the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, golfing, going on long walks. They are members of St. Pauls Episcopal Church and Dr. Zackeru is pleased to volunteer at various non-profit organizations, including Give Kids a Smile, Baptist Dental Bus, and Habitat for Humanity.

Not only is Dr. Zackeru an awesome dentist he is just an all around nice guy. He makes you feel very at ease and explains everything in a manner you can understand. Just had my regular cleaning this morning and the hygienist was fantastic! Again, very warm and welcoming lady and does excellent work. I had been a patient of Dr. Yancey for many years along with my children and even my grandchildren. Dr. Zacheru is a warm and welcome replacement for the retiring Dr. Yancey. All the staff are very friendly. It keeps that dread of "going to the dentist" not so bad at all.

The dentist and staff are great! I'm usually terrified of the dentist but this office has changed all that. Had a tooth pulled and the dentist was so gentle I didn't feel a thing! The staff knew I was afraid and they were reassuring. So grateful to have found a dentist I trust. Thank you!

I am new to town. today was my first visit to Dr. Zackeru on the recommendation of my sister who has been using this practice for many years. Just had a filling replaced and a crown re-seated and the entire experience was very good including the office staff. At age 64 I have had a lot of dental work done through the years and my impression of Dr. Zackeru is that he and staff are highly competent and focused on what is best for me. Look forward to many years of care from this practice.

My husband and I graduated from Wake Forest along with Dr. Yancey just a "few" short years ago. He has treated our entire family in a warm and professional manner. When he introduced us to Dr. Zackeru, we were very pleased. Dr. Zackeru treats all of us like family, taking a personal interest in our lives. I have a dental problem that I called his office about today. They promptly booked me for 9:00 am. Dr. Zackeru put me at ease as he explained the problem clearly and then offered a treatment that will give me much relief. My grandchildren are now patients of this practice. We would go nowhere else!

I starting going when the practice was under Yancy. He was okay, typical dentist. Zachery is much more customer oriented. He talks with me and explains what he's doing and asks if I'm comfortable. To me this shows his customer relations skills are top notch. I can say the same for all the dental assistants, too.

The staff is good but will not be going back after two years with Mr. Zackeru. I found him to be rude at times, argumentative and showing a lack of respect for his elders.

Dr.Yancey was amazing as always. My husband and I have been patients of his for over 20 years. His staff, Nancy, Blair, and everyone else are all very friendly and incredibly helpful. I will miss Dr. Yancey.

They are the best in everything- perfectionists! The staff (past and present staff) is excellent and the practice is well run. My family has been going to Dr. Yancey since 1994 and was pleased with any work he did-never any problems. Dr. Zackero joined the practice and is also excellent, caring and another perfectionist in his work as well! We are moving to Florida and would love to take my dentist family with us but unfortunately that is not possible not that I didn't try

My dentist of 27 years retired and I started going to Dr Zackeru! He is very professional, friendly and goes above and beyond of helping me with details and understanding of what is going on with my procedure. And in this day and time that is really comforting! The staff is also very friendly and professional as well! The office is top notch when it comes to cleanliness! Also I have no dental insurance and the cost is very reasonable! Dr Zackeru and his office staff is really a 10 star not just 5 !!!

Have been going to Dr. Yancey for years and have been 100% satisfied with the service and professionalism of staff. Upon his retirement, he has left his practice the in very capable hands of Dr. Zackeru. Just had a temporary crown put on and everything went great! Would not go anywhere else in town! They are the best! Highly recommend them!
