I work in the company of exceptional staff members who are not only highly skilled and professional, but also genuinely kind, caring, creative and fun. They are my family away from home. We take care of each other, and the fact that 5 of my team members have been with the practice for over 20 years, and several more have been with us for more than 14 years, says a lot about our team unity and means a lot to me. Our patients pick up on that and unquestionably enjoy coming to our office. A side note: Wed love to meet you, of course, but whoever you choose, please be sure that the doctor is a certified specialist in Orthodontics. It requires 2-3 years of specialized training in an accredited orthodontic residency program. Consider this parallel: Just as you go to an OB to deliver your baby, you also want a specialist to straighten your teeth.

Theresa is one of our chairside assistants, who also helps with the front office. She expertly manages the supplies/materials inventory to ensure that our office runs smoothly. Theresa is as creative as she is efficient. Theresa enjoys going to The River with her family and loves gardening, sewing, and coffee!
Maria is one of our most seasoned team members. She is calm, capable, and consistent. Maria is a very hard worker with an inordinate attention to detail. She enjoys bible study, sewing, cooking, baking, and making jam (Her apricot jam is the best!)
Kim was born and raised in Wisconsingo Packers! In addition to Kims clinical expertise, she takes care of many front office duties as well. Kims heart is as big as her smile, and it shows in the way she cares for our patients. She and her husband are dog lovers and Kim has raised dogs all of her life.
One of our veteran team members, Cindy has over 20 years of orthodontic experience. Cindy is Boston born, and full of sparkle and energy. She enjoys making jewelry, especially for the holidays. She hand selects beads and gems, and creates festive earrings and bracelets with the same clinical precision she employs at our office taking care of our patients.
Julie is another one of our veteran team members, bringing over 30 years of clinical orthodontic experience to our office. Julie is a credentialed preschool teacher as well. Julie has a decorators eye, and has a talent for embellishing our office for holidays and special events. Her beautiful bows adorn our gifts for patients as they finish treatment.
Gogi is a perfect fit for our financial office with her efficiency and her interpersonal skills. Her experience includes managing orthodontic offices, managing a wholesale flower shop, and overseeing the concierge desk at the Monarch Beach Resort. During down time, Gogi enjoys finding special treasures at out of the way antique shops.
Carolyn brings many years of experience as an orthodontic treatment coordinator. Her early career path included success as a model in New York, and as a manager at one of Nordstroms flagship cosmetics counters. She enjoys crafting and floral arranging in her free time. Carolyn considers it her personal responsibility to ensure that every patient she meets has an exceptional experience.
Lisa is one of our newest team members. Dr. Zachary had known Lisa for over a decade, and was thrilled when the opportunity arose to bring her warmth and expertise to our office. Lisa is very efficient while maintaining an easy going attitude. Lisa is our imaging specialist, handling our digital radiography and our computerized scanning technology.
Gloria is a positive and dependable team member. She offers both technical skill and a calm, caring, demeanor with our patients. She is a well organized, and also a very creative person. She enjoys crafts, and
Our newest team member, Tracey joined our front office after receiving orthodontic treatment here as a patient! Her warm enthusiasm and kindness equals her professionalism and expertise in customer service. Tracey comes to us with over 15 years of experience in the dental field. When shes not welcoming and taking care of our patients, you might find her doing Zumba or conversing with the locals in Paris!
Dr. Christopher Zachary was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. He was immediately drawn to a career in orthodontics through a positive experience with his own orthodontist, Dr. Bill Beazley. His interest was further cemented when he met Dr. Harry White at a career day presentation at Chaminade College Preparatory High School. The two made an instant connection, and maintained a friendship which became a partnership many years later. Dr. Zachary met his wife Trish at UC Irvine, married during his dental school years at USC, and started a family during his general practice training at UC San Francisco, and orthodontic residency at NYU. Dr. Zachary partnered with Dr. White in 1998, and maintained and promoted the practices reputation for excellence through and beyond Dr. Whites transition to retirement. Dr. Zacharys family lives in Laguna Niguel with their three boys, Brody, Riley, and Adler. All three boys have enjoyed playing water polo, where Dr. Zachary is an avid enthusiast! When he is not in the office, on the pool deck, or at the beach, Dr. Zachary enjoys reading, swimming, gardening, and traveling.
(Due to Dr. Zacharys specialty training, The American Association of Orthodontists has bestowed upon Dr. Zachary specialty status, granting him the honor of calling himself an orthodontist or orthodontic specialist).
Dr. Zachary is a firm believer in investing in his communities. He has helped to support his patients and their families through monetary donations as well as his time. Dr. Zachary sits on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation the OCYSF helps disadvantaged children learn leadership and teamwork through sports. Dr. Zachary also sat on the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Child development, both physically and mentally/emotionally is of particular interest to Dr. Zachary. To this end, Dr. Zachary is one of the founders of the dental/orthodontic office at Pretend City Childrens Museum, an interactive childrens learning museum. He facilitated the updating of the Pretend City dental office space through the generous efforts from one of Dr. Zacharys vendors, 3M Corporation.
