I am so glad I found Dr Z. If you have dental anxiety and it keeps you from taking care of your teeth and gums, you will be pleasantly surprised. Dr Z is really nice, his staff is gentle and the office has kind of a zen atmosphere. So don't put off taking care of your smile. Visit Dr Z - you'll be glad you did.

This dentist office has many wonderful things to talk about. The dentist, the office manager Sue is awesome. We have great experience with them always. Sue is above and beyond for anything you need for administrative purposes. She takes the time generously to answer your question and she js awesome

I'm so grateful for the staff and dentist at Z Dentistry! They have persevered through every unexpected situation, with mercy, grace and kindness! Annnddd...they have the best dental hygienist in Reno! Jessica is the best dental hygienist I have ever had!! Thank you Dr. Z and staff

Dr. Z and his staff are the best! Every time I go in there they are always patient and attentive. They always do a great job and I've never had any issues with their work. I get a little anxious when going to a dentist but somehow they've managed to turn it into a much better experience than I'm used too. If you're looking for a new dentist check them out, they've met or exceeded all expectations in the years I've been going there.

Hello, I just want to say a few things about my experiences the office of Dr. Zatarain and his staff, Jessica, Maria, Leslie- ALL of Dr. Z's staff, who are extremely professional, caring and knowledgeable. I've been going to this office for several years now, and every experience has been wonderful. Everyone remembers not only your name, but your last life situations, your family and everything necessary about you to keep your teeth, mouth and gums healthy. When you walk in, the zen like atmosphere immediately puts you in a calm and happy mood. Juxtapose that against the old world family culture Dr Z cultivates, as if you were walking into his home, offering food, drink and great conversation. But importantly, Dr Z takes the time to explain in detail every procedure, process and reasons for your dental health with his ever polite manner. I've recommended my staff go to Dr Z because of this, and he takes many kinds of insurances. If looking for a dentist, I highly recommend this office as it's the people and expertise that make it excellent! Deborah Whitehouse 5-2022

I thought I was in a different world. I walked in to make an emergency appointment. And they got me right in that afternoon. The staff is very friendly and professional. Doctor Zatarain is fantastic very personal and even though they were very busy he goes out his way to spend time with you. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I highly recommend Dr. Z and his office to everyone I meet. I always refer Dr. Z as a teddy bear, He is very kind and gentle. I first started coming to this office (I believe it was in 2016), my oral health was terrible and I did not practice proper oral hygiene. After many years of routine check ups and education given to me, my oral health has improved dramatically. One thing that I always appreciated about Dr. Z and his Hygienists is how kind they are when educating their patients. They are not rude, nor make you feel uncomfortable about what needs to be changed/improved in your oral routine. I always refer my coworkers and patients to this practice.

I needed to find a new dentist and received lots of recommendations for Dr Z. His office is clean and his staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Z makes you feel comfortable from the beginning. The exam was thorough and Dr Z explained everything he was doing. If you are looking for a new dentist I would suggest you give this practice a try. You won't be disappointed.

I must say, Literally the best dentist visit I have ever had. I'm actually looking forward to going back! The staff is great! The customer service is on point, a very pleasant office and Dr. Z himself is a super nice, and soft spoken, very at ease man, You can tell the actually care and they make you feel very comfortable! Last week's cleaning (+ X-Ray for Carol) was a dental pleasure for us both. Good to see Dr. Z in person, & really like having both our dental appointments on the same day/same times. We are happy to have our January appts. also set up that way!

I went to this dentist when I first moved to Reno 15 years ago and they were great in the beginning when they had the nicest cleaning lady ever then she left and they got super cheap and greedy. They only would give me one dental floss per visit and I even offer to pay for extras but they would not allow it. I had a cavity and called to set up an appointment but they never called me back my tooth hurt so bad. Very unprofessional service. I would not recommend this office and try to find something else out there.

I have been going to Z dentistry for 12 years. I'm very happy with Dr. Zatarain, he has always been very nice and professional and has made me feel valued. His staff is a mirror image of himself, friendly, curious and professional. I'm still very pleased with Dr. Zatarain and his staff. The staff is always friendly and courteous, it's a pleasure to interact with them. Dr. Zatarain takes time to explain he's thoughts and plans for treatment and continues to keep me informed throughout the process.

I called this dentist to see if can help me I am in a lot of pain from my tooth up my cheek to my eye to me head.. I asked if I had been to that dentist I said no I will be a new patient. She put me on hold and she ask if to see if they had room for me today. I was told no they don't have any room not even for an emergency they could not help me.
