Practicing for over 15 years, Dr. Nadia Iqbal has maintained the goal of helping patients in need of dental care and providing them comfort through this service. In starting her own practice, she stands by this same mission. With this, she hopes to provide a comfortable atmosphere at Ypsi Arbor Family Dentistry and treat everyone with compassion and care.
Born and raised in Indiana, Dr. Iqbal moved on to Ann Arbor, MI for college. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a double major in Biology and Communications and afterwards went on to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry four year program for her DDS degree. For the next 6 years, she was hired in as an Associate Dentist for her professor from UM Dental School who specialized in fixed prosthodontics. In addition, she worked in non-profit Medicaid clinics as well as working in Mobile Dentistry where she provided dental care for children at their schools. She also had the experience of going to nursing home environments to provide dental care for those elderly patients unable to get to the dentist.
In Dr. Iqbals career, she has been a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Francis B. Vedder Society. In addition, she had the honor of being named amongst Americas Top Dentists.
In all of Dr. Iqbals experiences, the common thread was the satisfaction of sincerely helping and caring for her patients. At Ypsi Arbor Family Dentistry, she wants to continue to do this and has the vision of giving back to the community with a warm and welcoming environment.
In her free time, Dr. Iqbal fully occupies herself with family and friends. She truly enjoys being a wife and a mother of four beautiful kids.Ypsi Arbor Family Dentistry would not have been the same without their input and insight. I saw dentist Zaida Azam twice for a cleaning and fillings. She was great! I give her the highest patient recommendation! She was very personable and gentle and the process was virtually painless. Hands down, the best experience in the dental chair I've ever had.

Amazing. A memorable experience for the most enjoyable and comfortable dental visit in 28 years. I love the water pick for cleaning-no harsh scraping on my teeth until my gums bleed. I've never felt such attentiveness from a dental team. This team is invested in their patients- asking about concerns and then actively listening and working with patients to ensure patients' wellbeing as well as taking time to thoroughly answer and explain any questions. Reception is a breezy dream and feels very accessible-they are very kind and understanding and it doesn't feel daunting to schedule/re-schedule appointments. I never felt pressured into a treatment, recommendation, or procedure. Such a relief. I cannot recommend Ypsi Arbor Family Dentistry enough!

Where to start...I lost count at 23 x-rays, then the dentist checked my teeth and told me I had 6 cavities. I actually had a small panic attack because I have never had a cavity before in my life so I decided to get a second opinion and thank goodness I did! Turns out I just had a little plaque build up but absolutely no cavities. I even asked the new place to double check and yeah, still no cavities. This place literally wanted to drill into my perfectly fine teeth and make problems up where there wasn't any. I still have a hard time believing it. 0/10 Do not recommend.

I saw Dr.Zaina and had the BEST experience. She explained everything, was methodical, and did such a good job. I walked put not only understanding my teeth better but with a pretty smile~ will definitely see her again!

They're wonderful! I had some dental trauma about 12 years ago and as a result neglected the dentists for a long time. The team here was able to help be get comfortable and over the course of 3 appointments get me a whole mouth makeover. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Staff are all so nice and I LOVE having a woman dentist. The Dr. is so genuine, kind, and knowledgeable. I rarely ever have issues with my teeth so I was terrified about getting a filling (I'm a baby, I know). She talked me through the whole process and put me at ease. Dr. Iqbal really listens to what you say and addresses your concerns. In my experience, most dentists/doctors/etc just nod while you talk but do what they want or what they think anyway without your input. Not her! She very much cares about her patients and wants them to be happy and comfortable. I know Dr. Iqbal genuinely listens to me. Happy to be a patient of YpsiArbor.

Dr. Iqbal is an amazing dentist! Very professional. She explains everything that is going on in detail. I recently had to get a crown. The procedure was painless. She has a very light hand and continuously makes sure you are doing good. I was impressed with this because I have gone to other dentist that had left my mouth hurting days after. The staff is extremely nice and efficient! The instruments used and technology is all up to date. I was able to see my xrays and detailed pictures of all my teeth in seconds. The front desk person Adel has always been friendly and welcoming. Also, being a fulltime student and my insurance not covering the crown they have been extremely considerate with working out a plan so I could get my procedure done right away. I highly recommend this dentist office!
