Dr. Lomboy was raised in North Carolina, graduating from the University of North Carolina in 2013 with degrees in Chemistry, Biology, and Entrepreneurship. He attended dental school at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Immediately following graduation, he pursued his specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He is trained in metal braces, clear ceramic braces, phase I/interceptive treatment for young children, functional appliances, clear aligners (Invisalign), and orthognathic surgery. He values working closely with patients other dental providers & specialists to ensure the highest quality of treatment. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Lomboy believes in providing quality, compassionate, patient-centered care by treating his patients as he would his own family. His philosophy of orthodontic treatment is to provide quality care while building lasting relationships with his patients by working with them to create beautiful smiles.

Although he enjoyed his time on the East coast, Dr. Lomboy was ready for a change of scenery (and weather) and decided to move to Austin, TX following the completion of his orthodontic residency. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the Lone Star State and everything it has to offer.

Upon arrival in the US, he acquired his US dental degree (DDS) from UCSF (international dentist program) in San Francisco, CA. He then practiced as a general practitioner for close to ten years before joining the UTHSC Memphis dental school prosthodontics program, where he graduated with a masters degree in dental science and a degree in Prosthodontics. He then joined the UAB (Birmingham, AL) Department of restorative sciences as an assistant professor in the division of prosthodontics. After two years of teaching, he decided to move to his current residence in Texas.

Dr. El-Hassan is married to his wife Nada (a rheumatologist) and a father of 4 lovely children. When not working, Dr. El-Hassan enjoys Painting, spending time with his family, and watching his boys play soccer.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR DENTAL WORK, THIS PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE AFTER THEY GET YOU MONEY, THEY ARE UNETHICAL AND HONESTLY SCAMERS THE WORST, MY WIFE COME HERE FOR A ROOT CANAL TREATMENT AND THEN SHE GOT AN INFECTION AND AS A RESULT SHE LOSE HER TOOTH, THEY CLAIM NO RESPONSABILITY OF CORSE BUT OTHER DENTIST AGREE THA THIS WAS A BAD PRACTICE. So you are reading this RUN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

First visit there, and all the staff that I came in contact with were very friendly and personable. The front desk staff ladies were kind and helped get me scheduled and checked in. The dentist and dental assistant provided a friendly atmosphere, which made the visit comfortable. Everything pertaining to my care was explained so that I could understand my treatment plan, so I thought that was very helpful as well. I look forward to coming back for my future appointments.

So very nice and fast paced with many options to help ease the burden of the bill. Only con is it takes at least 2 weeks to be seen again due to high patient count, still love them though!

I went here paid cash the rest was supposed to be billed to my insurance. I get a reimbursement check at the end of the year from my insurance and cash it. I'm never told or sent a bill by this company. They let me schedule an appointment just to tell me I owe what the insurance sent me and they never called or notified me. Never mailed me a bill. Why even let me make the appointment. I will pay the bill but never go back. The pregnant girl is so rude and impersonal. No smile nothing just you owe a bill! She was like that during my other visits. Like put the rude nonpersonal folks at the back not the front! The hygienist is the best person in there and the only reason I went back! Their loss $$$

Service is absolutely 5 star, overall 4 stars just because they're so busy and it's hard to get in an appointment for my also busy schedule. Dory and all the ladies up front are exceptional. They're always in a great mood and oddly enough I look forward to my visits there. Be sure to ask about all the services they provide there so you can knock out everything under one roof.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Dentist Slighly explained fully complete treatment plan & what he recommended be done presently. This is for my husband. Was able to put financing on a monthly payment plan with no interest & affordable payments. Would highly recommend.

So I just came from a dentist where I had my entire mouth taken care of about 7 months ago. The last dentist was awesome and never tried to sell you things to anyone. It was a private dentist so it was nice. I recently moved to the area and tried Total Dental due to the good reviews. I had a back molar break so I made an appointment. I got x-rays done and quoted a treatment plan of $5,500 and that's without the cleaning even placed on it! That's enough to make me sick to my stomach... I told them I only wanted to take care of the broken tooth. So I made an appointment to get that taken care of. Looking at other reviews, I notice other treatment plans were around the same amount. That is absolutely insane. I had to make a separate appointment to get drilled and get a temporary crown put on. The dentist is very nice and I really like him a lot but he's only there for the first part of the day so I couldnt make an appointment for any later than 12pm. I then have to come back a third time to get the Crown put on. So two days later(After I was drilled on), the tooth next to the the one I just had worked on broke and I wasnt even eating on that side of my mouth! Not sure what the odds of that is. I never had an issue with that tooth until I came to this office.... I then have to pay for an additional crown on a tooth that had broke that WASN'T even on my treatment plan right next to the tooth I just got drilled on! Coincidence huh? So after I pay about $1000 out of pocket(after insurance) I needed to get a cleaning. Cleanings are completely covered with insurance right? Wrong! They want to do a special cleaning and is going to cost me more out of pocket. So far this place is nickle and diming me and I cant afford it especially in these tough times. I never had experienced anything like this. The hygienist and dentists are very nice though. I may have to start looking for a different dental office after my cleaning. Not sure how they expect the average person to afford this

Wanted to get a tooth fixed where I lost a filling Appt at 0800 Arrived at 0750, never saw the dr and actually left at 0850 What I did get was, X-rays, and a tech going over what she thought needed done, then I explained to the tech that I was ready to discuss Full Inplants, tech said she would have the person come talk to me, another team member came to the room with a care plan to crown two teeth with a my coat and insurance cost Again Never seen a Dr I explained to the team member I am not interested in placing two crowns on my teeth, I came in to get a tooth filled where a filling came out I then told the team member I never seen a Dr yet so how are we putting a plan together? Team member replied to me that a Dr should if seen me prior to a plan and cost being submitted and apologized I left, first I was there an hr and never seen the dr, second, it is imperative that they are not wanting to listen to the customer, because I explained several times my plan. I will get billed, or Tricare will, but I have also notified Tricare cause I feel this is fraudulent and they shouldn't have to pay for the service that is put in you without discussion This practice is totally for the money, and disregards customers

I arrived early for my appointment and was greeted just as I arrived, the staff was polite and friendly. Everyone that assisted me was friendly and professional. I was in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. I experienced no pain during my procedure. I would definitely recommend this team of professionals.
