Dr. Harris-Rodriguez utilizes her great passion as a premier cosmetic specialist to serve her patients in a most professional, yet gentle, manner. Her specialties include Botox applications and cosmetic procedures, spectacular crowns and bridges, the most advanced and safe fillings and restorations, natural looking dentures and partials and the most advanced teeth whitening solutions.

Having originally joined the well-established Tamarac practice of Dr. Joseph Spingarn as an Associate in 2010, Dr. Harris-Rodriguez purchased the practice to continue to serve the community. Originally from Long Island, she moved to Coral Springs with her family in 1991. A star athlete in several sports, she also was very strong academically and focused on a career as a medical professional.

Majoring in Micro Molecular Biology at University of Central Florida, Dr. Harris-Rodriguez graduated Summa Cum Laude. She was a perennial member of the Deans List and Presidents Honor Roll at UCF, and was named to the Golden Key National Honor Society. She also served as Vice President of the Pre-Professional Medical Society and as Secretary of the American Society of Micro Biology.

Although accepted to a number of Dental Colleges, including Tufts, New York University, University of Indiana, and University of Florida, she decided to remain close to her family and received her degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. She amassed valuable experience as an associate in area dental practices prior to joining Dr. Spingarn. Dr. Harris-Rodriguez continues to expand her expertise into various areas of practice, including Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry. On the homefront, her artist husband Christian owns his own home and office renovations firm. They have five children, Emily, Matthew, Alyssa, and indentical twins Jenna and Leah.

She is originally from Venezuela, and emigrated to Weston, Florida in 2002. Dr. Thomas is fluent in English and Spanish. Growing up in different cultures has given her the opportunity to better understand and treat patients of various backgrounds.

Dr. Thomas believes dentistry is about helping others and improving their lives. As a dentist, one is able to relieve pain, enhance esthetics and improve function. She considers it a privilege to be able to treat her patients and takes great pride in being able to serve the community on a daily basis.

Dr. Darren Pike graduated from the University of Florida with both a Bachelors and Masters of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University where he graduated in the top of his class. Dr. Pike was the only recipient in his class to receive an award and scholarship for his educational excellence and outstanding achievement in implant dentistry.

Dr. Pike continued at Nova Southeastern University completing an additional three years of advanced specialty training in Periodontology. He is a Board certified Periodontist, performing all aspects of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Pike has achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Pike has lectured for the Florida Association of Periodontists and is currently a clinical advisor for NEOSS Inc. He has been trained by some of the countrys leading implant and periodontal specialists. Dr. Pike has performed research in non-surgical periodontal laser therapy and the use of recombinant bone morphogenetic proteins in bone regeneration. Dr. Pike is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), and the Florida Association of Periodontists (FAP). He currently resides in Boca Raton, FL with his wife Talia who is a Pediatric dentist, daughters Addison and Kaelyn, and two dogs Nieko and Bella.

My experience with Dr. Dina & Associates has been great. I just had a root canal done and it was fine. The staff was very conscientious and continually asked about any discomfort. Very attentive. I will continue my dental care at Dr. Dina & Associates.
