Dr. Abtahi earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Georgetown University. Her training as a nurse taught her how to approach health holistically and provided her with the opportunity to work with many different patients. Dr. Abtahi decided to transition from nursing to dentistry and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Abtahi is devoted to creating excellence in all phases of patient care. She understands that some patients fear dentistry, and she puts them at ease with her caring attitude and gentle touch. Dr. Abtahi continuously pursues advanced courses in dentistry, especially in the areas of cosmetic, orthodontics, restorative, and implant reconstructive dentistry. She always wants her patients to receive the highest-quality care and have positive experiences in her practice.
In an effort to create a calm and serene atmosphere in our office, we offer several comfortable amenities for patients to enjoy. We even provide fun activities for kids, like picture books and a cavity-free club. Our team believes little details like these can make a big difference in a patients overall experience.

The Doctor is really good and and takes care of the patient. I have been going to community dental for 6 years and no complaints so far. Friendly Environment and very clean place. I would highly recommend them due to the reason they will try their best to make you happy and give their best to resolve any issues arise from dental cleaning. They never give up till client is satisfied. Best of luck.

Very friendly, and professional experience. Needed new mouth guard and they were able to accommodate me during my visit during my normal cleaning. Just an update, Your Community Smile continues to exceed my expectations, they were able to get me in the office on short notice after losing a filling, replaced it and I was out the door. Greatest

Hands down best dental experience I've had! Dr. Adtahi is knowledgeable, thorough, and really cares about her patients. Her staff is just as professional, caring and friendly. Can't say enough about them! I been seeing her for 5+ yrs and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. :)

I went in for a cleaning and three old cavities to be redone in one appointment. The woman who had done my cleaning was great as she ensured a deep cleaning and was professional and friendly. Dr. Abtahi was awesome in dealing with my psycho needle phobia and her patience put me at ease. Kara runs the front desk area and made checking in easy. Great service all the way around and I highly recommend Your Community Smile.

Very thorough examination. I didn't feel like I went through a conveyor belt - everyone took their time. They used technology I've never had used on me before to get a good look at my teeth, and to make a plan to fix problem areas. I highly recommend this dental practice

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Abtahi and her staff. My dental issues seemed overwhelming and quite scary but she has made the process of restoration SO much better than I ever thought could be. For years I was so afraid to get things taken care of because of past experiences and anxiety. I feel listened to, understood and the amount of patience and quality of work that is shown is just outstanding! I 100% trust her and her wonderful staff. Dr Abhati is great at explaining things thoroughly, creating a plan and sticking to it, as well as being super patient and conscious of preventing discomfort. There's always a friendly, warm and clean atmosphere in the office. Needless to say, I always leave with a healthier, brighter smile
