With over 20 years of experience and more than 7,000 smiles, Dr. Younis has been providing exceptional orthodontic care to children and adults in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Our office focuses on the individual patient with an emphasis on cosmetic orthodontic treatment.

Conveniently located in Martinsburg, West Virginia, we provide care to the communities of Martinsburg, Charles Town, Hedgesville, Inwood, Spring Mills, Berkeley Springs, Hagerstown, and Winchester. Dr. John Younis has been providing outstanding orthodontic care since 1995. He earned his undergraduate degree and dental degree from West Virginia University graduating Summa Cum Laude and ranked first in his class. Dr. Younis completed his master’s degree and three year orthodontic residency and specialty certification at the University of Pittsburgh
To stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field of orthodontics, Dr. Younis attends annual orthodontic continuing education and maintains active membership in numerous prestigious professional organizations. He is a past President of the West Virginia Association of Orthodontists, Past President of the Eastern Panhandle Dental Society, and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists and the West Virginia Association of Orthodontists.
A native son of West Virginia, Dr. Younis was born and raised in Wheeling and is proud to be living here with his wife and two children. Dr. Younis has always been an active supporter of childrens education in the Eastern Panhandle. He has served on the Local School Improvement Councils of both the Shepherdstown Elementary School and Jefferson High School. He served for seven years on the Shepherd University Board of Governors and sponsors scholarships for the Youth Community Music Program at Shepherd University. Outside the office, Dr. Younis enjoys collecting comic books, reading, and playing with his dogs. When he is not fixing smiles, he loves to work on fixer upper projects at home and the office.

This place is the best. My son got braces and the staff is wonderful and very nice to answer any question that you might have. I love it that they work with you for appointments and to make sure your child gets what they need to have a beautiful smile...great place!!!

"I highly recommend Younis Orthodontics, very professional, very clean, and gets you in and out in a timely manner! Great experience!! Went in for an evaluation and left with braces the same day. The entire staff was was helpful and pleasant to work with through the entire process. Definitely the right choice!

Dr. Younis explains things clearly and carefully. We've been very happy with the care our two daughters received with him. And when we got a quote from both him and another local provider, Dr. Younis was over $1k cheaper. Highly recommend.
