Dr. Heejung Kim is passionate about her patients! She relishes the ability not only to make a difference in a patients life, but also to enhance and improve that life. Dentistry is a key component to overall health; it encompasses oral functioning and physical comfort, as well as confidence and mental health. Dr. Kim loves working with patients to reach optimum health and happiness.

Dr. Kim's devotion to dentistry began as a child. She was fascinated by its humanistic focus, combined with its biological implications and artistic applications. Shecompleted her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Master of Science, and PhD at Seoul National University School of Dentistry. After moving to the United States, she earned an additional Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Healthcare is an ever-changing field with a constant flow of new technology, treatments, and knowledge. Continuing education is therefore critical to providing the best possible care for patients. Dr. Kim takes great pride in maintaining a modern, state-of-the-art facility with up-to-date methods to provide the most effective and efficient oral care.

Dr. Kim has called Clarksville, MD home for nearly 20 years. Her husband is a former classmate whom she met during dental school in South Korea. They have been married for 25 years and have two beautiful children: a daughter who is a medical student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and a son who is a senior at George Washington University. They also have two adorable, lovable puppies namedGlobey and Marshmallow.

Their time together is happily spent as a family, especially taking family vacations exploring the world. In her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys Pilates, walking the dogs, reading, and trying new restaurants.

Dr. Dongha Oh is a periodontist who provides bone and tissue regenerative procedures, oral health rehabilitation with dental implants, and cosmetic and periodontal surgery. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he completed his dental training and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine with the honor of the Dr. Earle Banks Hoyt teaching award.

Seeking further expertise in dentistry, Dr. Oh continued a three-year specialty residency in periodontics and implant dentistry at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Here, he earned a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Dental Science degree. Presently, Dr. Oh is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Oh embraces the concept of comprehensive dental care, with collaboration with your primary dental provider, to reach optimal oral health and a naturally beautiful smile. He always aims to achieve an uncompromised standard of excellence in dental care to assure the best quality dental service that you deserve. Dr. Oh is fully aware of how anxious patients might feel about dental and surgical treatment. He strives to offer a relaxing and positive experience with gentle care.

Dr. Chae earned her Bachelors of Science in Biochemical Pharmacology (Summa Cum Laude) at State University of New York in Buffalo, New York. She then pursued her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. She completed her residency training in the Department of Endodontology at the Temple University of Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists.
