I'm new to the northern Virginia area and YoungSmile Dental happened to be the first office I contacted. Fortunately, it worked out very well. The office is great and my new dentist is fantastic. Dr. Kim recently did an implant for me, it turned out absolutely great. Highly recommended!

I am a medicaid patient. I heard that medicaid paper work takes 3 weeks and more. But I didn't know about that bc I am not woking in medical field. The staff intimidated me that if medicaid can't pay my bill, I must pay my bill. So scared Also she said "you must call your insurance and have to solve your case! " I called to the insurance company and confirm that my case is solving. I told her that my case is solving and will be fine. She said.. "I didn't receive any money even $1 and give me the confirm case number and name who said that." I think this is not patients' duty. I was so scared and I got bad bad experience. She said that I keep calling her and bother her. But I called her for appointment only. I have so many pain after treatment so I need to made many appointments. This is the bad bad experience ever.

I was hesitant to visit a dentist due to my insurance and my overall experiences from previous dentists. All the staff were very nice and made me feel comfortable and at ease. They were super clear about what was covered by my insurance, and what I would pay out of pocket. Also love that you can make appointments very early in the morning, so I have time spend for rest of the day. Dr. Kim and the staff were one of the best in the area in my experience. 5/5!

Dr. Kim is very calm and patient. I always feel that he is honest and only recommends treatments that are truly necessary. His hygienists are always personable and professional and his office is updated and stylish.

I have debated posting a comment for quite some time, due to being already embarrassed. The Dr is clearly good at what he does medically, but from someone who hasn't had a good experience with dentists, especially coming from affordablility (after all not everyone has the best of the best insurance, and with the cost of dental care, those that have issues already are hesitant about getting care). Therefore when going in to get work done and the Dr. States repeatably comments such as "WOW!! .how do you eat with that overbite?" Or "why didn't your parents..or you get you good dental care?", (Along with the assistant snickering). No compassion that not everyone is given the same opportunities and has/had top notch insurance.to be able to afford such services. Great full for finding someone else to take affordable payments for the quality services needed.im glad to see others have had better experience than I at this office. EDIT: to the owners response:. No..I know EXACTLY which place I'm referring to. Your response confirms how I was validated at your office a few years ago.

I recently changed dental offices after having poor services at my other dental office and YoungSmile Dental is wonderful! Dr.Kim is so patient and caring to his patients and is very thorough! Will definitely be coming back here for my dental work and all the staff here were so kind!

I love going to Young Smile Dental! Dr. Young is super quick, efficient, and does a great job. The entire staff is really friendly and I never feel uncomfortable. Sometimes dentist offices leave a bad vibe but not here!! Highly recommend. Also, spam them with questions if you are unsure, they will answer honestly.

Dr. Young is THE NICEST dentist I have ever been too! He was so patient, kind and through during my exam and answered ALL of my million questions. I have never had a dentist make me feel so cared for and relaxed while in his chair, I cannot wait to schedule my follow-up with him in 6 months! THANK YOU DR. YOUNG!!
