I love orthodontics because it allows me to have an opportunity to change my patients' lives by giving them more confidence and improving their oral health. Working with a wide age range of patients is fun, interesting, and challenging. I enjoy getting to know my patients and learning what their goals are while they're in treatment.

Continuing education is important to me, so I attend numerous courses every year, with a focus on new technologies and treatment techniques. I want to be able to offer any and all advances in orthodontics today that will benefit my patients and make their orthodontic experience the best it can be. Orthodontic techniques and treatments are constantly changing, and I believe it is critical to stay informed on these changes in order to make sure my patients receive the best possible care.

Each team member belongs to the American Association of Orthodontists Orthodontic Staff Club, which allows them access to the most current news and trends in orthodontics. Outside of the office, I'm always on the go. I have a house full of boys: my husband Zach, our son Wyatt, and our dog, Milo, so in my spare time I'm playing baseball, fishing, and chasing Wyatt around! We love family vacations, working out at the YMCA, and football season.
I love becoming friends with our patients. It's rewarding to see how each person changes and grows during treatment. I love when they start sharing their smile with confidence! My teammates and Dr. Young are a fun group. I think of them like family, as we're here for each other and for our patients. Clinically, I work chairside, assisting Dr. Young with procedures. I also work in the front office, handling all of the in-office insurance matters.
I have two wild boys, named Liam and Landon; a Labradoodle named Jade; and two Bengal cats, Keaira and Marley. Other than being a mommy of two very active boys, I enjoy running, working out at the Y, and DIY projects, especially refinishing furniture.
I love greeting patients and parents and helping to answer any questions they have about their orthodontic treatment. I truly enjoy our interactions and love how we build relationships while helping people achieve great smiles. Dr. Derrick Young is my husband. I love interacting with patients and their families. I've found I can find something in common with just about everyone, and the relaxed atmosphere at Young Orthodontics allows me to connect with patients. I assist new patients with their initial exam, work in the clinic, and take care of marketing for the practice. I love helping to provide an informative, supportive, and fun environment for everyone who comes here.
My husband Ron and I have three children: Whitney, Tori, and Tyler. Ron and I like to spend time with our kids, camping and attending their sporting events. I also like shopping, going to the movies, and taking beach vacations whenever possible!
