Dr. Aubrey Young is passionate about orthodontics and helping people feel confident about their smiles and overall health. She has affectionately been caring for patients at Young Orthodontics for the last 5 years and has been caring for patients in the field of dentistry for over two decades. Her journey in dentistry began in Utah where she received a Dental Assistant Certificate. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Weber State University after which she practiced as a dental hygienist for 10 years. Finally pursuing her dream of being an orthodontist, Dr. Young went on to study dentistry at UNLV and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine with the honor of being named Valedictorian of her dental school class. She attended UNLV Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics for 30 months of specialty training in Orthodontics, and received her Masters of Oral Biology defending her thesis in the field of stem cell research.
Dr. Young feels abundant gratitude for her opportunity to be educated in the dental profession. Volunteering in various non-profit clinics for the underprivileged and teaching as a dental health educator has always been a passion for her. She looks forward to many years of sharing her knowledge and skills and giving back to the beautiful community of Chandler.
At Young Orthodontics, Dr. Young focuses on detail oriented, facial driven treatment planning and is devoted to achieving beautiful treatment outcomes that are a balance of esthetics and function. She has a vision of creating timeless relationships with other dental care professionals in the community while working together to provide comprehensive dental care to our mutual patients.
Dr. Young embraces life with the same enthusiasm as she embraces the field of dentistry. She is a mother of two sons ages 17 and 15, and a Yorkshire terrier age 7. Her interests include reading, biking, skateboarding, skiing, hiking, swimming, traveling, and going to museums and the theater. Above all, she cherishes her time with family and friends and describes this as the heart of life.

I loved my first time experience at Young Orthodontics. Everyone was super nice and friendly! I was surprised with a welcome gift! During my consultation, Dr. Young was very honest and gave me her best professional advice of how to proceed with my situation. I am very grateful to have seen her and definitely plan to return next year to get aligners.

I chose Dr. Young for her attention to detail. Her office staff is always very polite and punctual, and the techs very knowledgeable. It's a well-run practice. I'm in the process of Spark aligner treatment and will update the results.

My family absolutely loves Young Orthodontics. Dr Young has gone above and beyond for our family multiple times. I have had four children seen by her and she has done so much for us. One of my kids had an issue with a special appliance she had to wear. Dr Young always fit her in, even if it was out of hours. My daughter felt very heard and validated in her struggles. She felt very special with the time Dr Young took with her. Over Christmas break we happened to miss an appointment for another one of my kids. We had the time wrong and showed up after the office was closed. Someone saw us and let us in and we explained how we got the time wrong and that we were bummed because my daughter was leaving for a couple months so we couldn't reschedule. We went back to the car and I got a call from the office saying Dr Young was still there and would do the appointment. Everyone else had gone home, computers were off, lights were off and they had already cleaned up. Dr Young still took the time to stay later and see my daughter. When we got out to the car after my daughter had a big smile and told me how nice Dr Young is and how much she likes Dr Young and her office. We haven't ever had issues getting in for any problems or emergencies. I am always impressed with how kind the whole office is. Jenny, the front receptionist at Ocotillo, always has a smile on her face and is so patient and kind. All of my kids have loved their technicians as well. After their appointments they'll often let me know how nice the person who worked on them was. They enjoy chatting with them and seem to think of them as a cool person to chat with at their appointments. I couldn't recommend them more. We just love Young Orthodontics!!

Every single person at Young Orthodontics was welcoming and made me feel completely at ease. The entire staff is happy and Dr. Young is awesome! Marissa was especially helpful and very knowledgable in the entire process. I am looking forward to getting Spark!

Dr. Young and her staff are great. We priced treatment for two members of the family and not only were they the most reasonable they also were and are extremely patient and very good with young children.

Growing up, I was always the one with crooked teeth. I used to get made fun of because of my teeth. We were never able to afford braces when I was younger so it was always a lifelong dream for me to get them. When I was only 17 years old I found out I was pregnant with my son. When I finally turned 18, I went to a free consultation for an orthodontist, but I left feeling very discouraged. Being a newly single teenage mom, I couldn't afford braces at the time. I was so sad, but I knew I would get them someday. By the time I was 19 years old, I was pregnant with my daughter. Her pregnancy was a turning point in my life. I decided it was time to grow up. Going into 2018, I set a goal to get braces that year. By March of 2018, I was working a good job, going to college full time, and I had finally saved enough to get braces AND I paid for them in full. So I went on a hunt to find the perfect orthodontist. I think I went to 5 or 6 consultations before making my decision. Some were nice, some made me uncomfortable by trashing the competition, but when I met Dr. Young she immediately impressed me. It's obvious how much she cares and that showed. She even encouraged me to check out the competition to make sure I found the best fit for me. She wasn't the "least expensive" option, but she was by far the best choice. I'm so glad I chose her as my orthodontist. Her team is awesome too! I want Dr. Young and her entire amazing staff to know they changed my life and helped me to fulfill a lifelong dream and they made it a great experience at the same time. As a single mom, the fact that I'm able to bring my kids with me to my appointments and they never made me feel bad about it but instead gave my kids things to color on and what not, meant so much to me. You have all really touched my heart. Fast forward to 2020, my son is 6 and my daughter is 4, I graduated with my bachelor's degree with honors, I am still working at a great job, I have a beautiful home that I love, I have a savings again, and I'm about to get my braces off very soon. For the first time in my life, I have straight teeth and this means so much to me. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! I will always recommend Young Orthodontics to everyone I know and if my kids ever need braces in the future I'll be back to see Dr. Young. I hand wrote my story down in a card and gave it to Dr. Young at my last appointment and I recently received a card in the mail from her and her entire office handwriting the sweetest note back to me. I just got my braces off today and I swear I've never ever seen my teeth look this good ever in my life. I've been struggling with a tooth defect since I was young and Dr. Young is the first to fix up my teeth and gave me the most amazing smile. She's very meticulous and detailed about everything. I really recommend this place, also the staffs is very friendly and always welcoming you.

Young Orthodontics is a fabulous place. I have been going to the Ocotillo office for my braces. The ladies are all so kind, happy & positive. They always make their clients feel wonderful.

Twice they have changed my appointment time without telling me. I made my appointment 6 weeks in advance scheduled time off from work and then two days before the appointment I get an email with a different time. The time was 3 hours different from my original time. The other time there was no notice and they changed it to a different day completely I had already taken time off of work for this appointment.

Dr. Young is very knowledgeable and she treats her patients with care and understanding. She is there for you anytime for anything. The office staff and hygienists are just as wonderful. If you need braces this is the place to go.

I am so glad we chose Young Orthodontics for my daughter. Dr. young and her staff are the most warm and welcoming office I've ever been in. They have the best equipment and technology to get the job done right, and they only want what's best for you. They make my daughter feel very comfortable at every visit, and you can tell they truly care about each and every patient. I highly recommend them!
