Silver Spring Family Dentistry was founded over 35 years ago by Dr. Young J. Lee with the vision of creating a dental practice that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. Dr. Christine Lee Kimearned her BA degree in Biology at Cornell University.She then graduated with honors and received her DDS degree at University of Maryland Dental School and continued there to complete her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and Southern Maryland Dental Association. Dr. Kim has been practicing for over 17 years. She enjoys treating families from toddlers all the way to seniors. She is a firm believer in teaching good oral health right from the start. Dr. Kim also has great interest and experience in cosmetic dentistry and crown & bridge rehabilitation.
Growing up inthis neighborhood has provided strong ties tothe Silver Springcommunity.When shes not working, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. With her family she loves going to the ballpark to cheer on her favorite team, the World Series Champions-the Washington Nationals.
Dr. Young J. Lee received his DDS degree at Seoul National University and at the School of Dentistry, State University of New York at Buffalo. Next, he completed a post-graduate program in Removable Prosthodontics, also at SUNY Buffalo. He trained further in a residency program in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, NY.He then served as an Associate Professor in the Prosthodontic Department at the School of Dentistry, West Virginia University for five years. Dr. Lee recently retired from practice and now enjoys travelling and pursuing his passion of photography.
