Dr. Bradley Young was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In 2011, he moved to Maquoketa and joined the Lechtenberg & Young Dental team. When Dr. Lechtenberg retired in 2019 he began leading the dental practice. He feels very fortunate to be part of both the Young Dental team and the Maquoketa community.
Dr. Youngs calming demeanor, down-to-earth personality, and keen sense of humor make his patients dental experience as pleasant as can be. He takes special care to make sure his patients are as comfortable as possible, and is devoted to educating and communicating with patients to help them maintain healthy smiles. He strives to listen to and gently treat all patients that he has the privilege to care for.
In 2006, Dr. Young received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa. He earned his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 2010 from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Dr. Young belongs to several professional organizations including American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. He is CEREC and Invisalign certified, and is excited to be able to offer these services to his patients. Dr. Young is constantly upgrading his dental knowledge and skills with continuing education courses so he can provide his patients with the latest technology, trends and procedures in the dental field.
Dr. Young currently lives in Maquoketa withhis wife, Marie, and two children Lincoln and Evelyn. When he is not busy nurturing healthy smiles or helping patients, Dr. Young spends some of his time hunting, watching his alma mater win football games, Chicago Cubs baseball, and Chicago Bears football. Other hobbies are fishing, camping, and grilling out. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends.

I am one of those people who absolutely dread going to the dentist. Because of my dentist phobia, I tend to wait until it is absolutely necessary for me to go. A coworker recommended Young Dental and I am so extremely grateful because this office is the best dentist office I have ever been to. Everyone in the office is exceptionally friendly. They took the time and asked about my anxiety pertaining to going to the dentist and made sure I was comfortable the whole time I was there. I will recommend them to anyone who asks and may even start going to the routine visits!

It was my son's first time at the dentist, and he was distraught waiting for his appointment. Michelle put his favorite show on the waiting room TV to help him relax, and Dr. Young was swift, yet gentle, with the appointment. Definitely recommend!

I lost a tooth crown while driving across the US. Dr Young kindly made time for me to be seen and had the crown replaced and refit the same day I called his office. His staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, put me right at ease. Maquoketa is lucky to have such a dental office as this! Thank you Dr Young!!!

Love Lechtenberg & Young Dental! I haven't lived in Maquoketa since I graduated high school but will ALWAYS book an appointment when I'm back visiting family. They do a thorough job and are always looking out for your best interests. So lucky to have such an amazing dentist in a smaller community.

I have gone to Lechtenburg & Young Dental since I was a child. Now I take my kids here as well. We all love Dr. Brad and the ladies in the office. Everyone in the office is so friendly and welcoming. The staff is so patient even when the kiddos are a little hesitant. We Lechtenberg & Young Dental!

I had to get a tooth extracted. The dentist was so Gentle with the novacaine and had me very numb which was a good thing as he had some issues trying to get to the tooth out. I'd recommend anyone to this dentistry. The staff is sweet and they aren't judgemental or uncaring.

So very happy with my last dental appointment. I had a broken filling and the dental team was friendly while also being extremely professional in their approach. They took care of my issue very quickly, explaining the process as they went along which put me at ease and alleviated any anxiety.

I actually look forward to going to Young Dental. I drive from Bettendorf to do so. There I know I will be greeted cheerfully and treated with respect and expertise from wonderful Miriam and Dr. Brad. The staff throughout are a pleasure to see. Pam is terrific. The edifice is well maintained and comfortable. Five stars for sure.
