Dr. Clifford Young is committed to providing exceptional dentistry with excellent service. He believes in constant learning as well as developing personal relationships with his patients. Dr. Cliff was raised in the San Gabriel Valley. He obtained his B.S in Health Communication from Pacific Union College and continued his education at Loma Linda University, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He believes that dentistry is a career of service. His commitment has brought him on dental trips to places like the Dominican Republic, Peru and Fiji. After graduation, Dr. Cliff served one year abroad as a missionary dentist on the island of Saipan. He remains driven to keep his talents and commitment to altruism as the driving forces in his future career and life.
Dr. Youngs genuine passion for dentistry has led him to pursue extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, CAD-CAM restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and implant dentistry. He is currently completing his post-graduate training at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, WA. In addition, Dr. Cliff has completed over 300 hours of implant training with Loma Linda University Implant Program and continues to be dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to patients.
Dr. Clifford Young is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and on the fellowship track for the Academy of General Dentistry. He has his certificate in Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) and is also a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Peter S. Young believes in developing a partnership with you in order to help you achieve long-term optimal dental health. Providing the highest quality comprehensive dental care in an ethical and conservative fashion is his number one priority. He also works closely with a team of well-qualified specialists in providing multidisciplinary dental care.
He has received the designation of MAGD, a Master from the Academy of General Dentistry. Less than 2% of dentists in America have this degree. Dr. Young has attended over 4000 hours of advanced dental continuing education since 1988 and continues to attend over 100 hours a year. Dr. Young is a Fellow of the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics and an Accredited Member of the American Society of Dental Aesthetics. This means Dr. Young has been recognized by his peers as a leader and an example to other dentists in the importance of continued learning for optimal patient care.
Dr. Young earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California. In 1988, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University. Dr. Young is an Associate Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute and a sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Other memberships include: American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Total Patient Service Institute, San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Young is a lifetime member and has been certified by the United States Dental Institute in orthodontics since 2002. He also holds membership in the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and is a Lifetime Quality member of the Crown Council. He is also a graduate, mentor and clinical instructor at Kois Center.
Educating others is also one of Dr. Youngs passions. He has been an assistant professor since 1998 at the Division of General Dentistry School of Dentistry at Loma Linda University where he lectures on aesthetics dentistry and practice management.
Dr. Young feels that continual learning is vitally important in keeping pace with the latest dental developments. In fact, he attends an average of 150 to 200 hours of advanced seminars annually. Since 1988, he has completed close to 4000 hours of continuing education seminars. These seminars include subjects such as implants, cosmetics and laser dentistry.
Sara Balsells Patient/Scheduling Coordinator Sara has been in the dental field for many years and is experienced in helping patients find ways to get the healthiest smiles possible. In her spare time, Sara enjoys listening to music and spending time with her amazing husband of 4 years.
Sara Cota Lead Assistant Sara cannot wait to meet every patient that walks through the door. Sara graduated from Northwest College in 2013 where she continued her passion for dentistry and became an assistant. Sara is now currently the lead assistant at Young Dental Health Center. In her spare time, Sara enjoys being active by playing baseball or hanging out with her son.

I've been seeing Dr.Young for the past few months. Dr.Young and his staff are unbelievable. Dr. Young really cares about his patients. I had my implants done by Dr. Young and am totally pleased with the procedure. What other doctor calls or texts you every day after having implant surgery to make sure that you are Ok? None that I know of ! I highly recommend Dr. Young and his staff for all of your dental needs. Wish I would have found him sooner.

Dr. Young and his staff are amazing! It's been a while since I've felt this comfortable at a dental office. I love the way their hygienests explain everything so I know at to expect during and after my procedures. The patience they had with my toddler was also so amazing. I'm glad we found our dental home! Great service. Dr Young was great! I had the pleasure to work with Dr Clifford Young. He was patient and very thorough. It was also nice to have a younger Doctor with an attitude to those similar to the students that I went to college with at Cal Berkeley- very smart, down-to- earth and very humble. I'm so glad my family and I have found our family dentist in Dr Young.

Today was my first visit with an appointment to this office. I was greeted warmly and very professionally by the front office. My hygienist Cristian was very thorough and very professional. My teeth felt and looked great upon completion. Dr.Young was a pleasure to talk with after he verified my hygienist work. He offered me some good advice regarding the type of toothbrush that I was using to reduce further minor irritations caused by the one that I was using. A great professional team experience for a first time visit.

This was my first visit to Young Dental Health Center. I'm approaching 80 and dental visits have never been something I looked forward to. However, my appointment went beyond great. The entire staff was polite, professional and accommodating. Dr Young has surrounded himself with an excellent staff. I was impressed with Dr Young's procedures and use of state of the art furnishings and dental equipment.
