Dr. Vuppala has a caring personality and has the philosophy of the highest quality, professionalism and personalized dental care possible. He has worked in the dental profession for many years and has the experience and skills you want in a dentist. He graduated from his dental school in 1998 and was thereafter licensed by the California Board of Dentistry.
During his several years of practice, Dr. Vuppala has also trained and mentored many dentists in the Northern California area. He also has kept himself current on all the latest techniques and procedures. He received specialized training in root canals, neuromuscular dentistry, dentures, Invisalign, oral conscious sedation, implants and several others dentistry procedures.
Dr. Vuppala and his wife, Yani, have two boys. Outside of the dental office, his life revolves around his family and their numerous activities. He loves to cook with his wife in his free time. His cooking has many fans among friends and family.
As a dentist, Dr. McCutcheon is changing lives for the better. Whether its a full-mouth reconstruction, or a childs primary molar, if she can achieve a great result, the patient is happy and she feels satisfied in that. Dr. McCutcheon is most fulfilled when she can help a patient work through the fear of seeing a dentist. She is committed to making trips to the dentist easy and enjoyable.
Dr. Shyama Subhadarsini graduated from UCSF School of Dentistry in 2014. After graduation she has been highly committed to post-doctoral training about latest dental products, techniques and its application in daily practice. She is passionate about practicing evidence based dentistry and minimally invasive dentistry. She is an active member of the Santa Clara County Dental Society, American Dental Association and study clubs.
Dr. Shyamas calm demeanor exudes compassion and provides a level of comfort that is commonly highlighted by our patients, especially those who get anxious just thinking about being at the dentist. Its her mission to educate patients early and develop good dental hygiene habits that will last a lifetime.

Dr Kamath and Henry help me with the Invisalign treatment. The overall process is very smooth and the result is awesome. It takes less than a year for me because my situation is not too bad and, mostly importantly, I stick to the plan per suggestion :) . I would highly recommend them if you're looking for this!

The front desk staff is great. They work around my schedule and I never have a problem when I come in. The Doctors are professional and answer all of my questions. Highly recommend, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The front desk was super sweet and accommodating. After my elastics were lost in the mail (sent by a different ortho) this office was able to get me a replacement 10 mins before closing time on a weekend. Saved me from having to reuse the same pair for 2 more days! Thank you so much!!

Going to the dentist is a difficult thing; You are in a vulnerable position having your mouth open while a procedure is made and you hope it won't hurt too much or you won't do something that embarrasses you; With the current pandemic, even more anxiety and psychological hardship is felt and hence the best care and attitude is needed in order to have a great experience. In this review, I will not talk about a great experience; I will talk about an experience suffered by my wife where she experienced bad attitude, harsh tone and it felt like the dentist was belligerent towards her. Yesterday my wife came home from You Smile Dental feeling sad and on the verge of tears, she told me how the dentist, again, had a bad attitude and was belligerent towards her and made her felt uneasy, she felt that the doctor was pushing for a treatment while she wanted to know the options and in general seemed like the tone and attitude was bad; like she was being scolded for getting a treatment in there. She also bad mouthed the work done by another dentist on a crown that had to be replaced because the crown that she had from here broke. This is not the first time this happens. The first time this issue happened we ruled it out as maybe a fluke, maybe the dentist was having a bad day. Yesterday the issue repeated and it really made her feel bad about going to this business and not wanting to come ever again. I fully support this decision, this is not a free treatment and by no means cheap; We are paying and hence we should receive the most respectful service and care. I went to confront them and I called out to the receptionist and to the dentist that treated my wife about this; I went to submit a complaint and give them some feedback about this issue. Of course they denied everything and gaslighted these comments and my wife's response. "She seemed fine", "we explained everything", "We don't know what happened". Well, look at your staff, maybe ask a couple of customers this dentist treats and see if there's a pattern. No feedback was taken, of course, and it was a matter of "yeah that's what you think", coming out of pride and not able to accept any feedback to improve. I'm pretty sure they might answer this post and gaslight it again, they will probably ignore this feedback and won't make any changes; Moreover, they should evaluate this dentist and the staff that allows this kind of behavior. We are not coming to this place again and not recommending it to anyone ever again. PS: I'm making this post in behalf of her and standing for a shy person; Because this kind of attitude and issues shouldn't be ignored and a Dentist should always treat their patients with respect and care.

3 visits to this denistry and I am feeling relieved. I was initially scared because it was my first time to a dentist plus I am little claustrophobic. But, this place made me more comfortable and brought my anxiety down. Check-in at front desk was a pleasant experience. Then, I was greeted by Dental Hygienist Erika. She understood my dental anxiety and made sure I am relaxed before heading to any procedures. All areas are open without walls, so it makes you to get out of your claustrophobic feeling. I am a person who needs constant air on face. She even accommodated that request by placing a deskop fan near me. This is what we call going above and beyond. They have TVs attached to ceiling for every bed, so you can watch NetFlix and not be conscious about the procedures. After few diagnostic procedures, I was met by Dr. Sinduja Bhaskaran. She was very knowledgeable and was communicative throughout the appointment. She explained each and every procedure calmly and made sure I am informed of as well as relaxed to go thru the procedures. Before the procedures, the front desk also talks to you and explains the amount that will be billed and gets your acknowledgement. It is great that they support Delta Dental insurance. I made 3 visits so far to here and each time I am feeling glad to have chosen You Smile Dental for my dental health. I am also relieved of the particular pain (that I had earlier) after the treatment process done by Dr. Sinduja Bhaskaran. Thanks to Dr. Sinduja Bhaskaran, Dental Hygienist Erika and the Front desk team of You Smile Dental. I highly recommend them to anyone.

My partner had a dental emergency and we called as a new patient on a Saturday afternoon. They managed to fit us in and were so kind and effective. The service was above and beyond, my partner felt extremely comfortable. There were even TVs with Netflix on the ceiling for patients. Also a huge thank you to Carla who really helped fit us in. We had a really positive experience.

We highly recommend this place. Dr Vuppala is skillful, accommodating, and friendly, He takes time to explain all the procedures, pros and cons of the treatment so that we can make independent decision, for past 6 years we have been availing their services including - filling, root canal treatments, implant, deep cleaning, annual dental checkup for entire family etc. Even after moving 50 miles away from the office, me and my family prefers this dental clinic, due to quality of service and their professionalism.

I had a root canal treatment . It was really a very pleasant experience, felt really comfortable and safe when the doctor walked me through each phase of the treatment dynamically while operating. Hygienist , Bharat is very instructional and gentle the way he treated. He kept me engaged with some current affairs all the way through the treatment. Would highly recommend this place to anyone without a second thought.

In my 6+ years of coming to You Smile Dental, I feel like I have grown close to another family. The warm welcomes I would get with every visit from Henry and Dr. Kamath as well as the numerous jokes and stories we shared. Before starting my treatment, my family and I just could not believe that it was possible to fix my terribly crooked teeth. But they assured us that with time and patience, my teeth will definitely be fixed. Now, few years later, here I am with my braces off and my teeth incredibly straight. I am very pleased with being with You Smile Dental for all these years and I highly recommend them.

I had a very good experience with YouSmile dental. I had undergone a root canal and 2 extractions in the last month. The dentists did a great job with least pain. Well maintained premises following covid hygiene and patient checks. Highly recommend!
