Dr. Jia is a graduate of University at buffalo School of Dental medicine. After receiving her DDS degree, she completed post-graduate training at the University of Rochester and Strong memorial hospital. Dr. Jia believes in a patient-centric practice. Her genuine compassion, warm chair-side manners and gentle touch have restored smiles for patients of all ages, many with initial dental anxiety. Dr. Jia also believes in the power of dental technology. She stays updated with the most current advancement, techniques and materials, to provide you with the best experience and treatment outcome possible.
Dr. Jia is well versed in the full spectrum of general dentistry, from examining budding baby teeth to cosmetic crowns and root canals. Her professional interest lies in restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry and early age orthodontics. She is a certified Invisalign provider and has completed extensive continuing education courses on orthodontics, appliance, functional and soft tissue therapy for pre-teen and younger children.
Dr. Jia is a native of Chengdu, China, the city known for its spices and home of the panda bears. She moved to Rochester to attend Rochester Institute of Technology, where she earned her B.S degree in Electrical Engineering and applied sciences, magna cum laude. She now considers herself a proud Rochesterian.
Dr. Jia resides in thetown of Penfield with her husband Tian. They have two wonderful children Isaac and Luna. When shes not practicing dentistry, she enjoys creating art, from word art to colored pencils drawings to portraits in pastels. She also loves yoga, fitness, cooking, and exploring thefinger lakes.
Ryann grew up in the small town of Caledonia, NY, and went to college at ECC in Buffalo, NY. She graduated from ECCs Dental Hygiene Program in May 2018, and was very eager to start her career. Immediately after graduating, Ryann began practicing hygiene under her temporary license while also studying for her board exams.
Ryann has now been a registered dental hygienist for three years, and is grateful to have found a career she is so passionate about. She loves getting to know her patients while giving them quality care. She enjoys being able to make her patients feel confident about their smiles, while also educating them on the importance of their oral health.
Ryann and her boyfriend, Sean, just bought their first home in Lima, NY, and live there with their dog Jade. When she is not working, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family, and spoiling her two nephews Tanner and Callan.
