Very rude and condescending staff

I must say that there was a point in time that I would have said Dr. Jun Ho Lee's work was great and so was his staff. Unfortunately that is not the case today. Today I find myself with unfinished dental work a year later and dealing with very unprofessional staff. His staff members are; condescending, terrible attitudes and even spoke to me with raised voices. Zero compassion or empathy and they compare patients with other patients and judge other past patients with current patients. The dentist and his staff made sure to collect their money from my insurance and refused to work with me on my portion of the co-pay considering that is was more than a $1000, I had $500 cash to give them to put down towards my portion of the co-pay and they refused my money and turned me away. The best advice they gave me was to go get in debit (apply for carecredit) and come back and we can move forward with your treatment. Like really? my son's father forced our son to be seen by Dr. Jun Ho Lee, by his choice. My son is 7 and called me crying because he did not have a good first time experience with Dr. Jun Ho Lee and his staff. He said he was afraid of the dentist and his office made him nervous. he said he did not want to go back. Today I still have unfinished dental work.... This dentist and his staff is not worth a star rating (i had to rate at least 1 star in order for me to be able to post this review) but its worth a review because my experience needed to be shared so that others don't have to deal with a similar experience.

I definitely recommend. I hadn't been to the dentist in almost 10 years and on my first appointment they did the basic exam but also found that I had gum disease. I thought I was going to have to wait a few weeks to get seen again for an extensive cleaning , but they got me in the very next day. They're all really nice and I'm so glad this is my dentist

My children and I recently started going to Dr. Lee. The staff here are great! They take their time and go over everything. Highly recommend.

I got say this place is the best they do the job right with no pain at all and cleaning teeth is good also am starting to like the dentist aging best thing I like they don't make u wait to long like some other dental places make u wait even with appointment so far good experience been coming here since 2019 so they are good

Dr. Lee is great! He explains everything you need to know about your treatment, delivers exellent results and truly cares about his patients. I would recommend all UC Merced students who are looking for a new dentist to come here.

The staff are incredible and so is Dr. Lee. I feel safe as his patient and I will continue to go to him as long as I live here. He's incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. You won't be disappointed!

Loved coming here... It had been quite some time since i had been to the dentist and everyone was so patient and kind. Definitely recommend!
