We welcome Dr. Simran Grover, our new general dentist. She earned her bachelor of dental surgery degree in India before graduating from Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dental Medicine with a Master of Science in Dental Public Health and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in General Dentistry.

Her desire to give back to her community and serve the underprivileged started at an early age. She was fascinated by the world of science and amazed at how medicine could improve the lives of so many. When she joined the Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (SGRD) in India in 1995, she was certain that dentistry would be the path to fulfill her childhood passion.

In addition to her strong clinical background, Dr. Grover is also a mentor and lecturer. After graduation, she began lecturing in India and went on to become an assistant professor. During her tenure, she was so inspired by her students optimism and willingness to help others that she wanted to continue teaching. To enhance her skills, she further completed graduate training in Dental Public Health and Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she is currently a faculty member.

Dr. Grover is also committed to her ongoing education pursuing a Mastership in Academy of General Dentistry. She is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Dental Education Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Academy of Women Dentists.

Dr. Grover offers a wide array of treatments, including root Canal Therapy, surgical extractions, and alveoloplasties. She also offers several digitally guided procedures, including Cerec crown design and fabrication of same-day crowns and implant restorations.

I am not at all happy with my visit today. Kim did not clean my teeth . She seemed more interested in doing other procedures to make more money.

The text service being used by this practice is inaccurate. It is asking for my feedback for how my appointment went before the date it occurs. The office staff are unaware and apparently do not know how to fix it.

This was the most painful cleaning that I ever had. The dentist wanted to replace all my fillings. I'm moving on to another dentist that may be moving caring than this office.

Best dental cleaning! Reception staff friendly and responsive. Dr Grover is gentle, efficient, reassuring. She is hyper aware of your response and is always checking to make sure you are ok. Her assistant is equally kind and efficient. Everybody was on time as well!

Apparently this dental office has gone out of business. I waited months to get an appointment and then when I went for the appt. they were closed. Their message machine said they were closed the previous week but would be back March 1st. My appt was March 3. No one called me back or called to reschedule. I have called on other matters and don't get calls back previous to this. Sadly when this was Dr Grays office, it was amazing for over 30 years. I don't know what happened but am left searching for a new dentist an no idea where my dental records are.

I was a patient of Dr Gray for many years. I was not happy with the new management because of reduced hours, only 2 days a week, change in doctors and lack of communication about these changes.

I arrived on time and was seen in timely fashion. There was rock music playing in the waiting room and I asked to have the volume lowered which was done right away and kindly. The dental assistant, Gabby, was sweet as can be. She led me to the patient room and explained everything very clearly, step by step. She proceeded to take x-rays. Then she diagnosed the problem. She discussed it with me and then had the dentist enter. Dentist concurred matter of factly and discussed possible courses of action. We decided what to do. She numbed the area, waited awhile for it to take effect and set about fixing the perceived problem. It takes me an inordinate amount of time to get numb, so by the time I left the practice I was starting to be numb. I must confess that it did hurt a lot. Both dentist and assistant were quite attentive and made an excellent diagnosis. The dentist herself called my pharmacy to prescribe an antibiotic for me to pick up. Her instructions were very clear as regards meds and follow-up. I would definitely recommend York Dental Group. I might add that the receptionist was very pleasant, and the cost of the visit was exactly what I'd been told in advance.

My visit was not good. Incomplete and not what I've experienced over the past 20 yrs. I was not at all satisfied though the staff tried as best they could. Staff was simply too inexperienced.

The dental hygienist was wearing an N-95 mask but it was only fastened with one of the straps. The other strap just hung loose. He had a thick beard that prevented the mask from sealing tightly. He needs training to wear an N-95 mask properly.

The entire staff and Dr Anna are very friendly, considerate and professional. It is a safe environment for those who feel that a trip to the dentist is scary and not much fun. They do a super job talking one through the experience.
