In 2002, Dr. Yoo completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Howard University. She began her career as an associate doctor before opening her own practice in The Glen Shopping Center in early 2004. She attends many continuing education seminars and is highly knowledgable in all aspects of dentistry. She is also licensed through Hiossen Osstem implant systems as a dental implant surgeon.

Dr. Yoo is an amazing dentist. Whenever I go for my routine cleanings... unlike other dentist that I've gone too... she has super soft hands ! I always get a little anxiety going to the dentist but at Dr. Yoo's office-- the assistants, receptionist and the doctor, make it feel like a calm atmosphere. I recommend coming to Dr. Yoo. She educates me when I don't have a clue what is going on in my mouth ! Usually, other doctors just come and see you and leave... but I love Dr. Yoo, she likes to spend time with the patient. I love this dentist ! 5 stars !

Stay away. Came in and got 3 fillings. Paid and left. Got a call 6 months later to come back in a pay $100. Tried to charge me extra after the fact. Within a year all the fillings broke and fell out. New dentist ask me who did this work. I told him and he just shook his head.

I have been going to Dr. Yoo for years. She is very knowledgable, gentle, and professional with her work. She does a great job of explaining and talking me through each step of the procedure. Along with a friendly and welcoming staff, Dr. Yoo provides a top notch dental experience. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area and need a good dentist.

Recently moved to Virginia and first time seeing a dentist here in Virginia, this is the worst in my lifetime. Starting from the receptionist/assistant, she has no knowledge or skills and can't comprehend ; also not attentive listener. She doesn't even understand English well. My insurance company said one thing and she totally understood it differently. Then comes the dr. Yoo who is not an effective dentist, I didn't appreciate her work. Did a lousy cleaning and didn't treat with the concern I walked in for. I highly do not recommend this dental. be careful!!

My entire family has gone to Dr. Yoo for several years how. She is highly professional, and an excellent dentist. The entire office staff is friendly and supportive, creating a nice atmosphere.
