Excellent service. I had been having toothache for a while and other dentists could not find the root cause even after taking x-rays. Dr. Yoo was able to identify the root cause on my first visit. Dr. Yoo is very patient and explains the work to be done with utmost details so as a patient you know what is happening every step of the way. Highly recommended.

Dr. Yoo has been my dentist for several years now and I have had a wonderful experience with his practice. He and the members of his team are always kind, polite, and accommodating. Even though getting to his office is a bit of a drive for me, I don't mind it at all because I'm always very pleased with his care and with the results of his work. My teeth recommend him, and so do I. :)

I recently had some (for me) pretty extensive dental work done. Dr. Yoo was great as was his staff. He explained the process in detail so that I was familiar with what he was about to do. The actual work was done very efficiently. It was all done in less time than I expected and I was never uncomfortable. I could not be happier with the results. I would highly recommend Dr. Yoo to anyone.

I found Dr. Yoo's office whilst searching for a local dentist here in Ossining. I read some reviews and immediately set up an appointment to come in. I was experiencing some gum disease that over the years had became worse do to lack of treatment and discipline by me. Upon my consultation he advised that since I was missing a few teeth in the back, he would have to install an implant and cap off another tooth that pretty much gone. Fast forward a year later I finally have my implant installed and my gums have improved thanks to Dr. Yoo's treatment and care. He's very professional and takes his time to explain every procedure on each visit. His staff is wonderful and the place is kept immaculate. I want sincerely thank Dr. Yoo and his team for helping me and bringing back a smile I once had. I would recommend him to family and friends and whoever is looking for someone that cares for his patients!

Dr. Yoo and the entire staff at Yoo Smile Dental are extremely professional. The office is immaculate and always very clean. My wife and I have been going to Dr. Yoo for several years now after moving to Ossining and it has been a wonderful experience. Dr. Yoo is patient, gentle, and knowledgeable in a way that makes you feel comfortable. All my cleanings have been thorough and precise. Recently, I elected to have two wisdom teeth extracted after a decade of holding off and it was a great decision. Dr. Yoo did the entire procedure and a crown in a little over an hour with only a local anesthetic. Everyone thought I was crazy when I told them I wasn't being put out but I trusted Dr. Yoo and there was no pain just minimal pressure. It also expedited my recovery (little bleeding) and within 3 days I was back to eating and drinking whatever I wanted. I would recommend Dr. Yoo to anyone looking for a competent dentist that cares about his craft and patients.

I recommend Dr. Yoo very highly. I needed major work done with some of my molars, and it was painless. He and his staff are friendly and professional. I've been to many dentists in my lifetime, and wish I had found Dr. Yoo sooner.

I happened upon Dr. Yoo and his Team by chance after dealing with some teeth sensitivity. I am so pleased that right in town, I am able to be have a practice that meets my dental needs and his team were very pleasant to work with. Dr. Yoo provided referrals for additional Dental treatment he uncovered while in his care. The treatment and care for my teeth was very comfortable and as well as personalized. Thankful for this happenstance. See you in 6 months :)

Average competency, awful attitude Started seeing Dr Yoo about three years ago, choosing him because he was conveniently located and his reviews were overall positive. His skills with performing routine dental procedures; cleanings, fillings, et cetera, are on par with what I would expect from a provider. His main assistant, Christina, is always polite and so are the rest of the team he has supporting him. Back in April of this year (2020) when the pandemic was escalating, I asked for him to give the rest of my trays that were part of my Invisalign treatment. My concern was if the state gets locked down, there could be an interruption in my treatment. Since my treatment is basically switching to a new tray after a prescribed timeframe, I was confident in my ability to manage that. He literally laughed out loud and left the treatment room to inform his assistant at the front desk of what I said; as if my request was ridiculous. He waves his hand at the notion that any restrictions will be placed on businesses and doesn't think it's a big deal. Two weeks later, Cuomo announces the "essential services" restrictions. At my next visit days later I demand my trays, feeling vindicated that I was correct to be concerned. He became angry and told me that I would need to sign a waiver to accept the trays. I shrugged and agreed. After speaking with people having their Invisalign treatment managed by different dentists, it's clear he could have surrendered the trays without the waiver; as many people were just given their trays without argument. I think he got angry because he was afraid I was leaving him for a different dentist and that's the "real" reason I wanted them. And even if that were the case, they're my trays and I get to decide who manages my care. One thing he's developed a habit of recently is accidentally banging the handle of the dental drill into the upper incisors. He's never damaged any of my teeth, but he did injure my tongue in my most last visit. I understand these things happen and the injury was not severe, but I only found out once the anesthetic wore off hours later after returning home. Not once before I left did he mention the wound he made on my tongue, but left me to discover it on my own. I understand these mistakes happen and although learning from my dentist that he cut something he accidentally is unpleasant, finding out as a surprise hours after his work is done is inexcusable. He is unwilling to face the consequences of his actions and own up to blunders on his part. If not for uncertainty about my wife's employment contract renewal, the beginning of the pandemic, and us moving over the summer; I would have found a different dentist. But now that I'm on my retainers and things have settled down for us, I'm cutting ties with him; especially after this most recent incident. If you live near his office and are willing to take the chance he'll do right by you; go for it. Otherwise, if you want someone who will practice patient driven care, which is standard practice in medicine these days; go elsewhere. Sorry for this being so long, but I didn't want to reduce this to "he sucks, don't go there". Really hope this is helpful. UPDATE: Less than an hour after posting this review, Dr Yoo called me. To be clear, his assistant did call to check on me after I left a message about him injuring my tongue. So this is not the first time his office has tried to respond to my concern, but it is the first time Dr Yoo has called me himself. He tried to "explain" himself, not referencing the review at first. Initially, he apologized for not noticing before I left the office that my tongue had been injured, but later casually suggests I might have bitten my tongue. He did not, however, apologize for his rudeness when I requested my Invisalign trays, attempting to rationalize why he wanted to hang on to them. When asked, he admitted he saw my review before calling. While he did not try to persuade me to change or delete my review, it's pretty lousy to let it get this far before reaching out personally.

I initially went to see Dr. Yoo for a cleaning. It had been about 2 years since my last. My first impression of the office was how clean and friendly it is. Cristina is lovely and very helpful with scheduling and billing. Also, very honest, which means a lot. I've hesitated getting bonding done that I knew I needed done, because my previous experience with other Dentists left me less then thrilled. Dr. Yoo is so nice and has a very soothing demeanor. He really knows how to put you at ease and is very clear about the process. I went back two more times to finally get the work done that I had needed for so long! Dr. Yoo did a beautiful job and I'm so happy with the work. I look better, my teeth feel great, no more pain from hot and cold and I'm actually looking forward to my next cleaning with Dr. Yoo. I will recommend him to everyone I know. Yoo Smile certainly does make you smile.

Dr. Yoo, Christina, and Natalie are great. Freindly, knowledgeable, and courteous. I just recently had a root canal, post, and crown installed. The whole procedure was a breeze. The crown looks and feels like a natural tooth. Extremely happy with this team. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. I will continue to visit Dr. Yoo for all my dental needs.
