Dr. Yoneda earned her Bachelors in Physics at Ochanomizu Womens University in Tokyo, Japan. She attended dental school at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) and finished graduate school at TMDU. She earned PH.D with the study of proteoglycan of dental pulp cells in 2002. She also researched biocompatibility of degradable polymer useful for dental implant treatment at National Institute of Standards and Technology in D.C. and was given IADR Implant Research Group Young Investigator Award in 2002.
Dr. Yoneda enjoys spending time with water color painting, fabric staining with natural extract. Her husband, Professor Kan Yoneda teaches robotics in Japan. Both of Mrs. and Mr. Yoneda love high technology.
