Dr. Yoneda earned her Bachelors in Physics at Ochanomizu Womens University in Tokyo, Japan. She attended dental school at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) and finished graduate school at TMDU. She earned PH.D with the study of proteoglycan of dental pulp cells in 2002. She also researched biocompatibility of degradable polymer useful for dental implant treatment at National Institute of Standards and Technology in D.C. and was given IADR Implant Research Group Young Investigator Award in 2002.
Dr. Yoneda enjoys spending time with water color painting, fabric staining with natural extract. Her husband, Professor Kan Yoneda teaches robotics in Japan. Both of Mrs. and Mr. Yoneda love high technology.

After trying for two years, I Finally found my dentist in Hawaii. Totally the best practice by far. Dr. Yoneda is perfection. I really enjoyed my visit today. Professional in every aspect. The same goes for her staff.

Dr. Yoneda has been my dentist for over 14 years. I had always been afraid to go to the dentist prior to meeting her. She spent the time explaining and educating me on healthy teeth. She made me feel comfortable, and changed me to look forward to my cleaning, and any dental care for that matter. With her care and guidance, I have healthy teeth and only require preventative maintenance. That is what a great dentist is, one who over time saves you time, money and pain by providing great care! Her staff are wonderful as well.

Dr Yoneda is thorough and meticulous when it comes to examining and working on my teeth. I have had extensive dental work done by many different dentists and she is by far one of the best. I appreciate her consideratio of my comfort while she is working. I cherish her advice for how to care for my teeth and guns. Dr. Yoneda keeps up with the latest news in dental care. She is knowledgeable and trustworthy. I am so happy I found her. BTW her staff is also very caring and considerate. Dr Yoneda takes pride in training them and giving the best service possible.

Dr. Yoneda and her staff were able to take a problem they inherited from my previous dentist and completely resolve my issues. They took the extra time to make sure I was fitted with the correct equipment and made sure I walked out satisfied. I have lived here in Maui for 4 years now and I have found myself a great dentist! So many times I hear people say and myself as well that this restaurant, this dry cleaner this etc etc etc is almost as good as back home on the mainland . I can honestly say that Dr Yoneda is the best dentist I have had in my life. Quality work, caring nature and healthy teeth. Thank you Dr Yoneda and your wonderful staff!

My family loves Dr. Yoneda. We have been going to her for 10+ years and she will always be our dentist for the following reasons. She is a perfectionist dentist and she is brilliant. She cares so much about her work that she heavily invested in all state of the art dentistry equipment. She has a scanner that scans your tooth and surrounding teeth and it makes an exact replica of the tooth for caps. There is no adjustment needed when placing the cap. It fits exactly. I don't know of another dentist on Maui with that equipment. Her concern and attention to detail is second to none.
