Dr Larry Yien was born and raised in Santa Cruz, he has strong family ties in Santa Cruz and cares about the county and the folks that live here. He attended UCD, University of California at Davis for undergraduate studies in Nutrition Science and UCSF, University California at San Francisco School of Dentistry.

Dr Larrys goal is to provide high quality Dentistry in a relaxed and supportive environment. Dr Larry is dedicated to educating and elevating the awareness and overall health of each and every patient he sees. He is constantly looking at ways to become greener both in and out of the office.

While Dr. Larry is best known for his prowess on the archery range where he has won 8 Gold medals at the IFAA World Championships: 5 team and 3 individual, he applies the same focus and dedication to his Dental practice.

While riding his bike on Scenic Highway 1, Dr. Larry was swept off the road by a tidal wave of sorts which dropped Dr. Larry into the Monterey Bay mountain bike and all. The sea creatures hopes were to recruit Dr. Larry to fix fish teeth, crab claws and whiten mermaid teeth. But when they found out his astrological sign was an Earth Dog they knew they could not keep him forever since he belonged to the earth fairies. So on the one month anniversary of his arrival they blessed him with seaweed and sent him home.

Heather is a recent recipient of the Student Achievement Recognition Award (S.T.A.R.) for compassion in patient care, enthusiasm for community service and dedication to and enjoyment of the Dental Hygiene profession. She graduated with honors from the Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene program.

Heatherlikes working as a hygienist because it allows her to work with many different types of people and gives her the ability to work with all kinds of cool tools. Her mission is to help people understand the importance of oral health.

She provides customized cleaning to meet patients specific needs, with a focus on holistic patient care. Her goal is to provide outstanding patient care by helping patients make educated decisions for the best course of disease treatment and disease prevention. She strives to be understanding, empathetic, and compassionate while delivering exceptional clinical services.
