Dr. Patrick Yerkes loves being a general dentist in Wilmington and has been in practice for over 26 years! He enjoys getting to know his patients and keeping current with up to date technology in the dental field.

Dr. Yerkes obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Denison University in Granville, Ohio in 1986 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois in 1990. He is an active member of the American Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and Will County Dental Society, and is CPR certified.

Dr. Yerkes resides in Naperville, Illinois with his wife, Jackie, son, Matt, and daughters, Emily and Jamie. He is an avid Cubs fan and enjoys playing golf, building camp fires, tail gating at his children's college games, working on his lake cabin, reading, traveling, and spending time with his wire fox terriers, Wrigley and Romeo.

Jackie is a CPR certified dental hygienist who received her license in 1985 and her Bachelors of Science degree from Loyola University of Chicago in 1986. In addition, she received a Post-Baccalaureate degree from DePaul University in computer programming in 1988. She has worked as a dental hygienist, market research analyst, and marketing product manager.

At the office, Jackie is in charge of organizing staff appreciation events, office decorating, marketing, and dental hygiene as needed. She truly appreciates all of the hard work and dedication each staff member gives to the office to make the practice a fun, efficient dental family. She loves seeing patients with fears or dental insecurities leave with trusting, confident smiles!

Jackie is married to Dr. Yerkes and loves spending time with him and their three children, Matthew, Emily, and Jamie and with their dogs, Wrigley and Romeo. Jackie's hobbies include traveling, planning creative events, painting, and spending time with friends and family.

Deena is our CPR certified office manager and has been with Dr. Yerkes since he started in Wilmington in 1992. She started working in the dental field in 1989 and earned a degree in Applied Science and Management Marketing. Deena has worked as a dental assistant, receptionist, and office manager for Dr. Yerkes. In addition, she took courses to enable her to polish teeth and apply sealants.

Deena loves greeting our patients and working with such a great team! She resides in Wilmington with her husband Derek and their four children, Maysie, Jayden, Brycen and Ryker. Much of their free time is spent attending the children's various sporting events. They also enjoy going on a yearly family vacation together.

Michele is one of our CPR certified, full-time dental hygienists and has been with Dr. Yerkes since 1991 (before he even owned the practice). She graduated with her Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from Prairie State College in 1990. In addition to being a hygienist, Michele has been a certified paramedic and volunteer firefighter since 1995. She is CPR certified in both Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Michele enjoys developing long standing relationships with her patients and improving their oral health. In addition, she loves working for Dr. Yerkes because her fellow coworkers understand team work and are also good friends. Michele lives in Herscher with her husband, Alan, sons, Kade and Kamden, daughter, Kayna, and stepdaughter, Abby. She enjoys spending time with her family, and her hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, Pinterest, and photography.

Shawn is our CPR certified assistant office manager / hygiene coordinator. She started with this team in 2000 and took some time off in 2003 to be home with her youngest son. She returned to the office in 2006. She has 13 years of dental experience and 3years in the healthcare industry.

Shawn's favorite part of working for Dr. Yerkes is meeting new patients and their families and seeing them walk happily out of the office with their new smiles! Shawn resides in Wilmington, and in her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and children.

Bonnie is one of our CPR certified, full-time chair-side dental assistants and has been an assistant for over 32 years. She graduated from Momence High School and attended Prairie State College. Bonnie has worked for Dr. Yerkes since 1999 and loves working for him because of the wonderful group of people she has gotten to work with who have also been with the office for many years.

Missy is one of our CPR certified, full-time chair side dental assistants and brings over 20 years of dental experience to the office. She began working for Dr. Yerkes in 2003 and loves converting nervous patients into calm, trusting ones.

Missy has three children and lives in Coal City with her husband and family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, water skiing, and watching her niece and nephew's sporting events!

Laura is one of our CPR certified, part-time dental hygienists. She began her dental career as an assistant in 1975 in high school and graduated from Southern Illinois University with her AA degree in Dental Hygiene in 1978, which began her dental hygiene career. Laura has been with Dr. Yerkes since 2002 and appreciates working with a great team at the office knowing that patients are getting quality dental care.

Kristi is one of our CPR certified, full-time dental hygienists. She began working in the dental field in 1994 and received her Dental Hygiene degree from Prairie State in 2001. She began with Dr. Yerkes by filling in as a temporary dental hygienist in 2002 while others were on maternity leave and became a regular part of our dental team in 2011.

Kristi lives in Coal City with her husband, two daughters, stepson, and stepdaughter. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like running, hiking, and kayaking. In addition, she especially enjoys spending time with her family.
