I am a black woman who has experienced racism but this cut deep. I introduced Dr Yeo to my newborn son, Drs Yeo and Tan both told me I was one of their favorite patients. So, after spending over 7k in their office, on November 20th 2020, Dr Rosita Tan of Yeo Family Dental said "Go to a Ni***r dentist, get treated like a Ni***r". I was in shock, I said nothing, but to make matters worse she repeated the phrase, laughed then gave me an example as to why it's an accurate statement. I subsequently made the decision not to return, even though my implant procedure was not yet complete. I had to find another dentist to create the bridge. To make matters worse, the ceramic implants they installed failed less than a year later. Literally falling out into my current dentists hands. They initially installed titanium, removed them a week later, citing their failure in other clients. After their removal, they told me they were mistaken, it was failing only in their elderly patients. I had to endure the painful drilling of implants twice for no reason. They also did not allow the bone graft to sit unbothered for 3 months as my current dentist practices as a standard, instead going ahead with the drilling of implants only 3 weeks later. Their unprofessionalism and racism has caused me a world of stress and lots of money. Essentially paying twice for the same invasive procedure.

Best Dental care on the West side. I've been to several Dentists office in MDR there's know one even close to her great personality and work ethic she provides. I walk right in the office with my dog I never have to wait. She doesn't over book which is a 10 plus in my book. Go see Yeo the best in the West. PS I can't believe how great my teeth look now..

Yeo Family Dental Group is my one and only dental practice that I trust. I have been seeing Dr. Tan and Dr. Jaime for many years now. I love the convenience of being in the heart of Marina del Rey with easy parking access. The office is beautiful and clean. New upgraded state of the art equipment. The most comfortable lean back chair and soft pillow for relaxing while being treated. Pain-free and stress-free dental work. Delicate expertise. Thorough cleaning. They take PPO insurance. You also get a view of the marina which is an added bonus. But the best thing is Dr. Tan and Dr. Jaime. They are a lovely family duo. Pleasing personalities with a positive attitude. When you are talking about your teeth, you have to go with the best in town. Very satisfied patient. Thank you Dr. Jaime.

Dear Rosita Tan! You, by interfering in my personal life, have ruined my relationship with Don. You wrote to him that I am abnormal and cannot assess my life situation. You recommended that he send me to a psychologist, knowing full well that I am already on treatment and taking antidepressants. I had cancer. It is not your job to determine my mental state. You are a dentist. You also made my boyfriend pay for the treatment of my teeth. You called him obsessively. And they also persuaded him to take a loan in a huge amount to put me five implants. I didn't want to treat your teeth. I said that I am a sick, impoverished homeless person and I can't pay for your expensive services. But you found out that I have a solvent boyfriend, he is a pilot and you said that you would make me a good price. You treated my teeth, each time I paid a certain amount that you told me. At the same time, you persuaded me that it was you who inserted five implants into me, because only you can do it correctly. You also put me a metal bridge on a crown that has broken. and blamed me for saying that I clench my teeth tightly. The crown has been good for several years. she broke through your fault. You damaged it when installed. You persuaded to make a new bridge too. I refused and said that I had no money. Then you started trying hypnosis on me, saying all sorts of rubbish that you have a third eye in your forehead, you are leaving your body and are able to treat me even with the power of your energy. But when I said that I would not do your teeth, you set me an extra amount, which I supposedly owed you. But I didn't even know anything. If I knew how much your treatment costs, I would refuse. But you deliberately hid it in order to add this amount to the bill of implants, which I refused to insert. You are a fraud, dear Rosita Ten. and manipulator. I will sue you for moral damage and emotional pressure. You knew that I was depressed and decided to use me, thinking that I was weak-willed and succumb to your manipulations. My relationship with Don went bad because I tried not to spend a lot of his money. And you, deceiving me, hiding the true price of your services, forced him to pay my bills. Moreover, you called and persuaded him to pay about 30 thousand dollars for my implants. it's horrible. and unprofessional, dear Dr. Tan

Dr Yeo is the best dentist I've been to. She's funny, patient and very gentle on me. She also genuinely cares for your health more than you probably do. She's also very flexible with payment plans because to her - getting u attended to is more important than anything else. I would recommend her to anyone who's looking for an amazing dentist who puts you out of your pain

I've hated going to the Dentist for most of my life. I've now been going to Dr. Jamie Yeo for about two years. I've never felt more comfortable and more taken care of in my life. Dr. Yeo not only cares about your teeth, but she makes the entire experience extremely pleasant. I could not recommend this office more. They are the best I've found in Los Angeles!

Fist, let me say the mother/daughter team are warm and welcoming and great with kids. Problem lies in the actual dentistry. We went in for a cleaning and had some fancy xrays done. I was told myself and my children all had cavities that needed to be treated. None of us have any dental issues and our molars have pretty deep grooves, as told to me by our previous dentist. I was told that every one of my molars and those of my 8yr old son would need fillings. Totally absurd. When they showed me the "cavities" on the monitor, all I could see was deep grooves and a little staining. I declined and almost 9months later, none of us has any issues with our teeth. While they are very nice, I fear vulnerable patients will be convinced to get unnecessary, costly work on perfectly good teeth. You have been cautioned! Always get a second or third opinion.

I find the latest review from Andrea very hard to relate to as her experience is so different to my own recent experience at the Yeo Dental Group. Dr Jamie Yeo has been wonderful , I came to her after many expensive quotes and spending a great deal of money on a very problematic tooth that had very poor results , Dr Yeo offered me a few options and pricing that was very fair and i went with what I could afford and her treatment and follow up has been nothing short of amazing. I would recommend Yeo Dental group to anyone especially on the West Side of LA who is seeking out an honest and professional dentist who is very fair and genuinely cares about your teeth and the comfort of her clients. Her "fancy" X-rays and up to date modern equipment this clinic uses are amazing and the computerized numbing technique is painless and ensures the patient comfort unlike many other dentists who still use old fashioned techniques and equipment which is not so patient friendly. I do not have dental insurance and Dr Yeo has actually fixed three different issues all on separate teeth as I continue to go back to her during my travels and stay in the USA.

Great environment, staff were really friendly, and Dr. Yeo was simply the best! She made me feel at home even though I was nervous and explained everything thoroughly. She's very caring and also really funny! I am definitely telling all my friends about this office and am so glad to have found this gem!

I just moved to LA from NYC and I'm so glad I found Dr. Yeo! She is available on Saturdays and after work which is great for my busy schedule. Dr. Yeo took her time to answer all my questions and I did not feel rushed at all. We discussed my different treatment options and decided on the most conservative one. Thank you Dr. Yeo for being so patient with me!
