Dr. Cornelius Yen is a native of Flushing Queens, New York. He obtained his DDS at the NYU College of Dentistry. He continued his education at a General Residency Program at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens.

I just left my appt and felt compelled to write a review. I've been coming here for a few years and have always had a good experience. I love the dentist and the receptionist. They are friendly, thorough and efficient. I also appreciate that I am always seen on time. Highly recommend.

I've been going to Dr. Yen for about a year now and have been really happy with my experience. I feel like he truly cares for the health of my teeth. He and his team have provided excellent service whether it has been a simple cleaning or more extensive work (did a wisdom tooth extraction). He has never pressured me to get any work done that I did not need. Looking forward to future visits and improving my oral health. Thanks Dr. Yen!

Dr Yen is a great dentist. I got an implant which needed a sinus lift and bone graft. It is great to have the tooth back. Everyone who worked there was nice and it felt welcoming. Thank you.

I really appreciate the receptionist for THOROUGHLY HELPING me with insurance issues. She was amazing and took her time to explain all the details by phone I needed to fix my issues. Absolutely amazing clinic and I truly thank the receptionist for her generosity!!!!

Dr Yen and his staff are simply amazing. Everyone is so kind and professional. Unlike most dental offices, you never have to wait to be called, arrive on time and you'll be seated within 5 minutes. The office is clean and Dr. Yen is thorough, efficient and puts you at ease. You'll be in great hands.

I am so grateful to Dr. Yen and his practice for taking me as an emergency dental case today. I am visiting NY and lost a crown yesterday. Dr. Yen was not only able to see me within 24 hours, but expertly performed a not-so-routine re-cementing of my crown! Everyone in his office was professional, very friendly and caring. Such a wonderful experience.

Dr. Yen is very accommodating when it comes to my nervousness & my inability to stop laughing because i was just that scared. He helped me with some anesthesia to help with the numbnesss so i wont feel any pain. I would so go back but because im super scared of dentist but Cornelius Yen can help make it a more tolerable visit. Thank you Corn! See u tomorrow!

I hate the dentist but have full faith and trust here. Dr. Yen is super easy to talk to and is overall a very cool guy. But because of his good service he is super busy. As long as you make your appointment for whatever you need done you should have a good experience. The negative reviews I'm reading (while my mom gets her teeth cleaned) were so unreasonable and i guarantee there's implicit bias behind it.

Dr. Cornelius Yen pretty much saved my 95 year old grandmother's life. My grandmother had 5 bottom teeth that were rotting away. We had gone to see another dentist before and they were reluctant to perform on her because of her age. My grandmother stopped eating and was barely talking to us. I had no idea how much pain she was in till I finally took my grandmother to Dr. Yen's office and he took an X-ray and reviewed her condition. He told me that she must be in so much pain, and I asked my grandmother is this why you're not eating? She said it hurts too much and she didn't want to bother us with her problems. After reviewing the X-rays and her medical history, he said i can fix this. My grandmother could not believe what she heard. 1 week later, 5 rotten teeth gone, my grandmother is now eating more and smiling every day! We will have to go back in a few weeks to fix her up with some fake bottom teeth, but Dr. Yen reignited the flame that was once dwindling in a 95 year old woman! And now I can't wait to cook the biggest thanksgiving dinner ever for her! Thank you Dr. Yen, you're a true hero!

I have been going to Dr. Yen for several years now and it is always a pleasant experience. He is very friendly, and highly professional. I always dread the routine teeth cleaning with the multiple sharp objects pricking and prodding everywhere, but Dr. Yen is amazingly efficient. He consistently makes it a quick and painless procedure, while addressing all questions and concerns. Truly one of the best Dentists around!

Dr. Yen and his entire staff are the best. I originally started going to Dr. Yen in Manhattan after a dentist I had previously used kept having issues with the crown he gave me (it would not stay affixed). My previous dentist wanted me to believe it was normal to have recurring issues with a crown fitting. Dr. Yen fitted me for a new crown and now almost 10 years later it is still good. After Dr. Yen went to Queens I tried a new dentist here in Manhattan. This new dentist apparently believed she could tell me I needed major work and I would just believe her. I decided to go back to Dr. Yen where he was able to confirm I did not need all that work. After each of my 6 month checkups with Dr. Yen I almost feel guilty that all he says I need is a cleaning. You should know Dr. Yen and his office have the utmost integrity, which is apparently lacking in some other practices. If you are anywhere near the 7 train I highly recommend you use Dr. Yen.
