My wife Kris and I are enjoying the area and all it has to offer. Beyond my passion for dentistry, my wife and I love experiencing the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and enjoy kayaking, hiking, and biking.
Debbie originally is a native of Oregon born and raised. She relocated into Washington over 6 years ago following her husband with their 4 boys in tow. She became interested in dentistry over 2 decades ago as a CNA working closely with a retired dentist. She spent most of the first decade as a dental assistant and in the front office greeting patients daily. As her passion for dentistry and immediate care for her patients grew, she went back to school and earned 2 associates degrees before graduating in 2009 with her Bachelor's in Dental Health from Pacific University of Oregon.
Since graduation, she has worked educating Dental Assistants as an instructor for a sealant program as well as providing clinical hygiene services in both private and corporate dentistry. She has a vast amount of knowledge in all avenues of dentistry!
In her spare time, she enjoys spending family time with her husband of 25+ years. In which they have 4 boys and 4 fur puppies. She enjoys riding 4 wheelers, hiking, camping, travelling, spending time on the Oregon Coast, paddle boarding and home canning.
I have been in the dental field for a very long time (not giving my age away! hahaha) and came to Yelm Prairie Dental in October 2018! I come with advanced knowledge of Dental Insurance to help with all your insurance questions!
My husband, William, and I enjoy our two large breed dogs Sherman and Lincoln. Sherman is an 11-year-old Irish Wolfhound/Lab cross and Lincoln, pictured at right, is an Irish Wolfhound born January 2017! You can see us most Saturday mornings at the local Shiplap Coffee Shop or walking around town after work!

It was a lovely dental clinic until Rebecca ruined it. Rude to the loyal costumers.. if you having a bad day.. don't give it to your costumers!!! A little patient and kindness will help your business.

I gave a 4 star because 1st impression was not very good...especially as a new patient. I came into an early apt with not even two hours notice. When I got there the first thing I was asked is if I had a mask. I said I did not....and the lady said "that is ok we will give you one but it will cost you a dollar." I said I did not have one after searching my bag. Then she said "that is ok we can just add it to your bill." Ummm threw me off!!!! It was not her being rude....but that was a really ugly way to welcome a new patient. If you are going to mandate a mask for 2 seconds you should give them to your patients. The mask still comes off during cleaning. Not a very good 1st impression. HOWEVER the lady who cleaned my teeth was AMAZING....clean...thorough...and inviting. The Doctor was also wonderful. I hope this review is helpful to the office coming from a new patient. Other than that I am extremely happy with the service....and how thorough the doctor was. Wonderful people! See you in 6 months ;)

I was very anxious coming in but they quickly put me at ease and we're very compassionate, caring and professional. This dentist Is very gentle and professional. Great staff as well.

I recommend Yelm Prairie Dental. The whole staff is very professional and knowledgeable, on top of that they're genuinely interested and concerned for your wellbeing. Their work is first class and the facility is beautiful and spotless clean. If you need dental care don't hesitate, give them a call.
