I was always attracted to the medical field and found dentistry to be the perfect fit for my personality. Dentistry is about building lasting relationships that extend beyond fixing teeth. I selected general dentistry for this reason. My patients are my family, and I care for them as individuals.

My patients are listened to, given realistic goals for their dental health, and all care is delivered in a warm, nurturing, and supportive environment. I love watching peoples oral and overall health improve and seeing them grow in their appreciation for exceptional dental care. I enjoy dentistry primarily because I enjoy helping people. I especially enjoy helping patients have a smile they are confident in showing off. It is important to me that patients feel comfortable in the office, and I strive to do everything I can to make their visit a relaxing experience. I am proud to work in a dental practice with professionals who truly value quality patient care. I graduated from University of Maryland with a bachelors of science in dental hygiene. I live very close to downtown Frederick and have loved the area since we moved here 6 years ago. When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time mountain biking with my husband, bird-watching, & painting. Our German shorthaired pointer, Copper keeps us very busy outdoors.

I am proud to be part of such a wonderful dental practice as Yellow Springs Dental. I was raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, and earneda BA of science in dental hygiene with a minor in human health sciences and education instruction. There, I met my husband who eventually led me to Maryland.

We have two amazing boys. I feel privileged to be part of this fantastic team because I know that we provide the best dentistry available. This team and the patients make Yellow Springs Dental a home away from home.

I enjoy building relationships with patients and their families. Its a real blessing to improve a persons smile and their self-confidence, and I love being part of that process. I enjoy helping others and am attentive to our patients who are fearful or in pain. I talk with patients about whats going to happen during their procedure, prepare them, and make sure theyre comfortable and relaxed. Then I provide chairside assistance to our doctors and patients.

I love working with people, and to be able participate in helping them love their smile and keep healthy life long teeth is very rewarding. Relationships that are built through caring and support are important to me, and I have really enjoyed participating in this building process since I came to this practice in February 2018.

I am a Maryland native but have lived in West Virginia, Texas, and Colorado. At home, I enjoy cooking, reading, and shopping, of course. Im an avid animal advocate (wolves especially) and have volunteered at several sanctuaries while living in Colorado. Its good to be back home and to work with such excellent people.

I love what I do. Dental health is a big part of peoples overall health and well-being. Its important to me to help people, in whatever way I can, to reach optimal oral health. I assist our patients with their paperwork and scheduling visits. I review financials with patients, and find the terms that work with their budget. I also help patients get the most from their insurance and handle the paperwork so they dont need to worry about it.

My wonderful husband Joe and I have been married since 1982. We have a son and two daughters. Each has married and blessed Joe and mewith grandchildren who are the light of our lives. My animals are a huge part of my life: chickens, a rabbit, a cat, a dog, and two birds. My passion is the youth of our community. I enjoy working with the youth program through my home church.

I joined Dr. Rogers and Dr. Johns team in August 2017. I love working with the dedicated professionals at Yellow Springs Dental to ensure that our patients receive excellent care and have a positive experience.

I grew up in Myersvilleand moved to Frederickin 2010 when I purchased my first home. My family lives close by and we enjoy spending time together at our family bay house. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with friends, trying new recipes, and water sports.

Originally from Griffin Ga I made Md my home 30 years ago. I fell in love with dentistry in my twentys and made it my career. I am so fortunate to work with the professionals at Yellow Springs Dental & look forward to helping our patients achieve their dental goals. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and singing karaoke.

Boo is the ultimate YSD team mascot. Boo was a rescue and was born somewhere in North Carolina. At the time, Dr Rogers daughter was in college there, and she adopted Boo even though her parents thought that might not be a good idea while in school. One lovely spring day; Dr Rogers went to visit his daughter and her roommates and, upon inspection of the living conditions, decided to rescue Boo from the apartment of crazy college girls. She now is a cherished member of the Rogers family and also our family here at YSD. She provides moral support to our team of hard working dental professionals while at the same time offering comfort to our patients. Keep an eye on our Facebook as Boo has many excellent adventures.
