Yellow House Dental and Implant Center is the new name of Kurt Loveless DDS. Our story started over 30 years ago when Dr. Loveless started this practice. He has spent those years creating something wonderful - an incredible practice with three excellent doctors, a stellar team of administrative and clinical staff, the most up-to-date technology and techniques, and a heart to change our patients lives.
Dr. Loveless has stayed in Lubbock for his entire career and has a passion for the people of this community. He is constantly learning and serves on multiple boards and committees, striving to make sure the dental profession moves forward in excellence. His commitment and dedication to his patients is unparalleled. Dr. Ricks is new to the community but brings a freshness, energy, and eagerness to grow that compliments his skills and knowledge perfectly. He is devoted to the pursuit of creating new relationships and establishing his reputation as an excellent dentist in our city.

In the clinic, our Dental Assistants are a support system, not only for our doctors but for our patients as well. They will walk with you every step of the way, working with you and your doctor to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed with someone always in your corner.
While education is something we value throughout theentirety of our practice, we consider our hygienists to be the main educators here. Not only will they give you an incredible cleaning and leave you feeling healthy, but they are also one of your best resources for questions and tips about the optimal way to care for your teeth. They help you stay a step ahead to give you your best chance at preventing more serious issues. No question is too small or silly for these ladies and every patient is a friend.
Outside of the clinic, our administrative team is your personal welcoming committee. They are here to facilitate answers to your questions, get you scheduled, coordinate with your medical doctors, help make you comfortable and help all of us get to know you. They work hard to coordinate your dental benefits, guide you through the complicated web that is dental insurance and empower you to make decisions not only for your finances, but also for your health.
Dr. Kurt Loveless attained his undergraduate degree in microbiology from Texas Tech University in 1978 and his DDS from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1983. Dr. Loveless completed his General Practice Residency at Olin E. Teague Veterans Medical Center in Temple, Texas in 1984 and has since been practicing dentistry in Lubbock, Texas. Dedicated to providing his patients with the most up-to-date quality care, he has completed over 1500 hours of postgraduate education. Among the extensive training and education Dr. Loveless has received, his patients have greatly benefited from his numerous courses in dental implants, full mouth restorative and esthetic treatments for procedures such as veneers and bonding.
As the former Chairman of the Board for the Texas Dental Association (TDA) Smiles Foundation, Dr. Loveless works with a large team of volunteers to serve the community by offering dental care to individuals with no other means of attaining treatment. His active involvement in the TDAs charitable mission projects has taken him across the state as he donates his time and expertise for many Texas Mission of Mercy events. He is an active member of both the Society for the preservation of Oral Health. He is a member of the Pankey Alumni Association, the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the American Dental Association (ADA). He has received the Texas Dental Association Service Recognition Award in 2006 and 2010 and the Texas Dental Association Presidents Award in 2012.
Dr. Ricks attended Brigham Young University Idaho where he completed Bachelors in Health Sciences emphasizing in Public Health in 2007. He completed his DDS training at Marquette University School of Dentistry in May 2013. Dr. Ricks is committed to improving his knowledge of dentistry and patient care to provide high-quality, precise dental treatment to the patients in the practice.
Dr. Ricks and his wife Christin have 4 children and are originally from small farming communities in Southeastern Idaho. They enjoy biking, swimming, camping, watching movies, sports, and being active in their local church. They are excited to make Lubbock their home and look forward to becoming a part of the community.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Ricks at Yellow House Dental! I was in severe pain with headaches and jaw and neck pain, with numbing on the side of my face. It was due to a TMJ disorder. It is difficult to find dentists familiar with the proper treatment, but Dr Ricks is very knowledgeable in treating TMJ disorders. Soon after beginning the splint therapy, my headaches and jaw and neck pain are gone. The staff are all very kind and welcoming. Thank you all. What a great place!!

Dr. Glasheen is a truly incredible and gifted dentist. Never before I have left a dentist's office feeling so cared for and heard. She is very kind and skilled, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who may have anxiety about going to the dentist. She really changed my perspective on what good dental care is, and I'm just so grateful.

First and foremost, this is the first review I have ever left anybody *ever*. I think that alone should speak volumes. I do my due diligence and read reviews so I feel absolutely obligated to leave one now. I literally just left the office after meeting Dr. Glasheen for my new patient exam. I can say with absolute confidence and honesty that she is the most kind dentist I have ever met. I went into my appointment absolutely terrified after some other rough experiences with dentists and she has absolutely forever changed my perspective. I just hope that somebody else with a pretty big fear of dentists and a mouthful of issues comes across this review and gives their office a chance. Everybody from the receptionist, the assistant, the hygienist and the dentist absolutely exceeded my expectations. Dare I even say I'm almost excited to finally start the dental work that I've been putting off for so many years. Kindness goes such a long way and you can tell that it is the backbone of that office.

Wow! I have never felt more comfortable going to see a dentist than I have when visiting the Yellow House dental team. I have always experienced major anxiety when I have gone to get any dental work done, but the Yellow House team truly cares about making it an amazing experience. Dr. Glasheen is excellent and I hope to never see another dentist than her in my life! I never thought I would be happy to go see the dentist, but the Yellow House team has proved me wrong.

I've never had a dentist appointment like it. Everyone was so nice and caring. They make you feel super comfortable for anything with their laughs and knowledge. They were very gentle and made the whole experience pain free! I will most likely end up going here for a long while!!

My experience at Yellow House Dental was lovely. I went in with a little bit of anxiety. Bonnie helped keep me calm when I went in for my cleaning. I came back to see Dr. Glasheen to get a little bit of work done. Dr. Glasheen was so kind and gentle, and made me feel like I was her favorite patient. Lexi and Bri were very helpful, kind, and made me laugh. I would recommend Yellow House Dental to everyone.

Dr. Glasheen is the most wonderful, caring, skilled dentist I've ever experienced. I discovered her at a clinic in Slaton Texas and followed her to Yellowhouse dentistry in Lubbock Texas. The dental hygienist, Deana P is also the best dental hygienist I've ever been to. She has over 20 years experience, no wonder! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to bring their dental health to a good place.

I just had the best dental office experience today at Yellow House Dental. From the moment I arrived every single person on staff (including the hygienist Savannah) was kind and thoughtful, taking time to make me feel at ease. Dr. Glasheen was not only professional and efficient but she also went the extra step to make sure I was comfortable, pain free, and satisfied with her work. Her assistant Bri was both knowledgeable and friendly which was a great distraction. I have had dental experiences in the past that left me in tears, but after my visit at Yellow House it was all smiles!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This review is long overdue, but I'm glad to have had the time to become very familiar with my dentist, Dr. Dallen Ricks, as well as with the staff of Yellow House Dental & Implant Center. I've really enjoyed my visits there and getting to know everyone; they're all very friendly, professional, and empathetic towards people's dental concerns. Dr. Ricks has an excellent "bedside manner" and is very understanding, down-to-earth, easy to understand, and easy to work with. I would definitely refer anyone to him and to this dental facility for your dental concerns/needs. :)

The staff is really friendly and Dr. Rick's listened carefully to my concerns. He made sure I was comfortable through the procedure (crown). I would highly recommend this place. My husband went to another one of the dentists here and had a great experience with them as well.

Overall great experience. The front staff is very welcoming. Dr. Ricks takes time to get to know the patient, listens to their questions & concerns and really cares about their oral health. Rita, one of the assistants, is very professional, thorough and caring towards the patients. Highly recommend Yellow House Dental for oral care!
