After undergraduate studies at both Brigham Young University and the University of Washington, he earned his bachelors degree in microbiology. Dr. Justin Yeates attended dental school at the University of Washington School of dentistry where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Yeates loves his profession. He enjoys helping patients of all ages achieve better oral health through education and preventive dentistry. His primary goal is the comfort and satisfaction of his patients. At the end of the day it is not the fillings or crowns, but the relationships with his patients that bring him the most fulfillment. Compassionate care is his number one priority.

I have (alas) had a lot of dental work in my 60-plus-year-old life, and Dr Yeates and his staff are the best. Best crown experience ever -- before, during and after. The hygienists, the office crew, everybody is friendly and smart and things just go smoothly.

Everyone in this office is excellent!!! They were extremely sensitive about my dental anxiety (due to past bad experiences of not getting numb). He was able to get me numb quickly and without pain in a very infected tooth They took a lot of time explaining and asking if I had questions. The hygienist brought me pillows, offered headphones and even gave me applesauce when she noticed I was shaky bc my blood sugar was low(diabetes). Wow all around!!! They gave me several options and there was no high pressure sales. I was shocked at how painless the appointment was. They took every care to be gentle, kind, professional, efficient and understanding. If give more stars if I could!!!! I finally found a terrific place in Skagit after 20yrs! --Trish

I started seeing Dr. Yeates because his office had hours of availability that worked with my schedule. I have continued to see him for at least the last 4 years. My experience has always been above expectations. Dr. Yeates, is very thorough when going over procedures or issues that need to be addressed, as well as your different options. He asks if you have any questions a few times to make sure you're comfortable. When they say they treat you like family, it's no act. I typically only go in 2-3 times a year but my hygienist never fails to pick up right where we left off from the last visit. If you hate the dentist, let them change your mind. Yeates Family Dental is the best!

Justin has wonderful manners. Even my 5 year old doesn't mind going to the dentist anymore. I used to take him to a pediatric dentist, but not anymore. He told me last visit that he likes going to the dentist now!! I highly recommend Justin has a dentist for all ages. I also love that I can get text or email appointment reminders. His staff is super friendly too. Also, I think their new office is decorated beautifully!
